❛CHAPTER TWENTY THREE
21 grimmault place❜

˙·✧──·✦·──✧·˙

PERCY HISSED in pain as Sirius gently whipped at the cut that was running down the side of his head. He gripped the arm of the chair he was sitting in, cradling his now wrapped up broken arm against his chest. A glass bowl sat on the end table next to the chair, bloody glass pieces sat inside, staining the bowl red.

Percy had arrived at 12 Grimmault Place only a couple hours ago, and gave his father, Sirius nearly a heart attack when he walked in all bruised and bloody. It was no secret anymore that Elijah Thayer didn't treat Percy like a normal human anymore. Not since the night in the Graveyard only a few months prior to this day.

Elijah kept it no secret that he abused his stepson since the day he walked back into the Thayer Manor after school was over. Though, even if everyone knew of this abuse, no one dared try to help poor Percy, no when his stepfather is once again one of Voldemorts right hand man. Even Percy didn't stop the beatings, suddenly scared of what the Dark Lord would do when Elijah told one of his sick, manipulated lies.

Finally though, Cillian Thayer had had enough, and grabbed Percy after one of the most bloodiest beatings and brought him to his real dad. Percy had finally revealed that he was a Black to his friends and family a month prior, and to say Elijah was pissed by that, would be a complete understatement.

And the wounds littering the young males body was a complete sign of that.

"I swear, the first chance I get, I'm going to kill that son of a bitch!" Sirius growled, finally placing the final bandage of Percy's head.

"Sirius, now is not the time to think about that." Remus sighed, shaking his head at his friend as he walked into the room the two were in.

"Come on, Remus!" Sirius growled to his friend, standing up and looking at him. "He almost killed my son! If it wasn't for Cillian, he most likely wouldn't be sitting here right now!"

Percy stood up from the chair, stretching out his sore bones as he grabbed his discarded shirt from the ground, pulling it over his head as he stared at the two older men.

"Sirius, now is not the time to think about this." Remus soothed, trying to calm the bristling man. "Let's try to clear are head and wait for the arrivals of the others. Give your mind a break before the meeting."
