THE PAIN was almost unbearable for Hermione Granger, the news of Percy joining the Dark Lord was just something she couldn't believe. She knew in her heart he wouldn't join willingly, so the option was that he was forced. Of course Percy had been through a lot that year, but would he truly join the ranks of their worst enemy. Of the people who murdered his own parents.
Hermione just couldn't get herself to believe it. She didn't want to believe it, despite everyone telling her otherwise.
Heat summer - to put simply - wasn't the greatest, just her writing letters to her friends and the crying herself to sleep because of Percy. No one had heard a thing from him, and that made her sometimes think that he was just dead, that he was killed after he left Hogwarts.
Hermione was at the burrow, and she found herself wondering outside, feeling like she needed some fresh air. As she was sitting in the grass, their was suddenly a rustling noise coming from beside her in the brush. She immediately pulled out her wand pointed it at the brush, but she slowly lowered it as the body of huge wold slowly emerged, its eyes showing hope and pain.
The wolf was a pitch black, with new and old scars littering its body. Its eyes shined in the full moonlight, its bright red eyes looking like rubys. Hermione couldn't shake the feeling off like she knew the wolf, and when it clicked who it was, a loud howl was heard from deeper in the brush, making the black wolf turn. It glanced at the girl one last time, before turning and sprinting away, a howl that it let out rang out through her ears.
AUTHORS NOTE
This was a pretty shit prologue, but I don't really care. Its late and I can't sleep, so why not post a shit prologue for this story. I'm trying to update more frequently, because.... I've done a pretty mad job so far. So hi, get ready for more chapters. I'm hoping to get this book done until school starts back up for me, and then I can give my other stories more love and appreciation.
