Go on a date with me and I'll give it back. - W
You are in no position to blackmail me. It's MY phone. - K
Go on a date with me. - W
No. - K
*pouts* - W
You did not just do that again on paper. - K
Deal with it. - W
Wesley Bane, no. - K
As friends? - W
We're not even that! - K
You came over for dinner, that's something friends do. - W
Okay, okay, you're a friend. Now as the oh-so-awesome friend you are, give my damn phone back. - K
Now that's settled, let's hang out tonight then. - W
Is there any other way you'll give my phone back? - K
Nope. - W
I sighed, my hand hovering over the paper.
Fine. - K
*victory dance* - W
...judging - K
He grinned at me, before sliding the paper under his book just as Mr. Coulter called out, "Mr. Bane, is there something you'd like to share?"
"No, not at all, Sir," he replied, pressing his lips together to stop himself from grinning. "Just taking notes of your fascinating and very insightful lecture."
Mr. Coulter raised an eyebrow, moving in front of his desk and looking at Wes' book. Sure enough, it had detailed notes of what Mr. Coulter had been saying.
"Very well," Mr. Coulter appeared miffed, trying to seem unaffected.
Wes and I laughed quietly when Mr. Coulter turned his back to us.
After study break, I headed for my Trig class where Wes and a few guys from the football team were lounging outside the classroom, discussing the latest game.
"Bro, we really need you out there," one of them was saying. "We haven't won since your brother left."
"Nah, don't really feel like it," Wes said. "I could give you a few lessons if you want." They all got excited. I shook my head, rolling my eyes as I walked past them into the classroom, sitting in the last seat in the second last row. I pulled out my books and read today's chapter. The bell rang, signalling class as the guys filed in.
Someone dropped their bag next to me, sliding in the seat.
"What, no hello?" Wes' cocky voice sounded. "I'm hurt."
"What is this," I said, turning to glare at him. "Stalk Kitty day?"
"You're fun to annoy," he shrugged, sliding his books out of his bag.
"Ugh," I protested. "I hope you haven't lost my phone."
"Nope, its right he..." Wes said, patting his pocket. He trailed off as his eyes widened in alarm.
"What?!" I shrieked. "You didn't lose it, did you?!?!" I felt my heart falling out of my chest as my hands dampened with sweat. No, this was not happening. This cannot be happening.
