"Kitttyy!" a voice called behind me as I was walking to Trig class. Wes, as always. He slung an arm around my shoulders.
I shrugged him off, "What do you want?"
"Mean as always," he pouted, walking beside me. "We've had dinner together how many times now? Four times, including yesterday and yet you still treat me like some parasite."
"Well you did say you're a worm," I pointed out. Last night was not in my favour, I only managed to sleep two hours.
"If you catch me with your mouth, I could be anything you want baby," he winked. I shoved his arm that had snaked around me again.
"Anyway, so mom wanted me to invite you guys for dinner tomorrow night," Wes continued.
"Really?" I said, a bit in shock. It was weird for anyone, let alone Wes' mother, to invite me for dinner.
"Why? You don't want to come?" Wes replied quickly and a bit defensively. His pace slowed down.
"No," I protested, stopping and turning towards him. "I was just surprised, that's all."
"Good, because a no isn't an option," he smirked, patting my head. I swatted his hand away before moving to enter Trig class and taking a seat. He pulled back the chair on my right and lounged in it. I groaned, banging my head against the table. Will he not leave me alone?
"Six pm at my place, then," he said, pushing back his chair on its two hind legs.
"So you're really not gay," a girl leaned back on her chair towards us. She had long black hair and a heavily made eyes. "Back in the game, I see."
I smirked. So people still thought he was gay. He glared at me briefly before smirking and turning back towards the girl. I think her name was Elaine.
"Definitely. Even if I was, my Kitty here was good enough last night to change that," he said, sliding an arm over my shoulders. His eyes were gleaming. "Care to join us next time?"
I shoved his arm away in disgust. The girl, Elaine, just looked between Wes and I in confusion. Her face expression quickly changed into a flirtatious one as she reached a hand over Wes' arm.
"Well it's good you're back in the game," she purred, trailing her hand up and down his arm. "I've really missed you."
Thankfully before Wes could make any more stupid remarks, the teacher walked in, beginning the lesson.

I rolled my eyes, it wasn't even one minute into the class and he was already writing notes. I scrunched up the note. Where the hell was he getting all this paper from anyway?
I sighed. This was going to be a long two hours...
About two thirds of the way through the class Wes poked me with his foot under the table. I pointedly ignored him, concentrating on Mr. Rayn. A minute later, Wes poked me again. And again. I frowned before turning my head towards him and raising an eyebrow at him. He smiled back at me innocently.
What, I mouthed at him.
He didn't even respond, just smiled at me. I shrugged, turning my attention back towards the teacher.
Wes kicked me softly with his foot again. This time he kept bringing back his foot to and fro, constantly kicking me. I sighed, closing my eyes patiently. That was until he brought his foot back and hit me squarely on my ankle bone, hard.
I screeched in pain, jumping up. What the hell was this guy's problem?!
I looked towards the front where Mr. Rayn had his back turned towards the whiteboard. How math-absorbed was this guy?! I turned back to Wes who was casually leaning on the back two hind legs of his chair, just smirking. That damn, gloating smirk was so wide on his stupid face. I pulled my foot back and kicked the two front legs of his chair that were in the air, successfully throwing him off balance. I got the satisfaction of his smirk quickly slipping off his stupid face before he crashed to the ground.
