Cecilia pov
Our dinner plan got cancelled as we heard the bad news. I wondered how someone who's strong as Jess and knows how to fight ended up in Seth's hand. Well... not discriminating but I guess they overpowered her petite self."Because of some sort of graffiti or some shit," Colin panted, his chest heaving.
Colin went to pick up Jess as she took way too long to call him back. When he got there, there was a note left by Seth. Now we're heading towards another town. AKA Seth's town, not his but the town he lives in.
They told me to stay home but I wanted to help somehow. Jess freaking got kidnapped! Why would I not go?! The reasonable option would be to call the cops but they didn't want the cops to be involved. Figured, since this group gets in a lot of trouble anyway.
Ethan was slowly sobering up but still had that dumb wasted smile, "Yo, Alec you fucked up. What kind of graffiti did you even do?"
"Alec?! So it's your fucking fault?" Colin started driving even faster.
"Wow, why are you blaming me? It's not like I knew they were going to target Jess," Alec looked like he wasn't feeling any sense of guilt.
"You fucking know how unpredictable he is. Yet you fucking do something to piss him off?!" I have never seen Colin this mad, well not this explosive.
"Seriously? That offended him? I just drew a small ass dick and wrote Seth's dick in cursive writing," Alec folded his arms.
"Guys, calm down. We're on our way to save Jess. Fighting amongst each other will only cause more trouble," Kyle was surprisingly calm but his right leg that he was bouncing and shaking told otherwise.
Ethan on the other hand was fast asleep. What kind of booze did they offer to make Ethan this wasted?
The abandoned building Colin parked in front of looked shady. It was old, the windows were broken and it was pretty much isolated. This summer holiday's main attraction has been abandoned buildings so far. Oh and how can I forget getting dragged into a school, despite my parents actually not putting me in extra school related or extra class related activity for once in one of my summer breaks.
"Hey stay here, don't get out of the car no matter what you hear alright?" Colin spoke directly to me as everyone else got out.
It was getting really late and they still had not come out of the building yet. I was starting to feel anxious sitting around here doing nothing... The silence in the car made me rethink what happened earlier... when Alec came by to my place after so many days of no show up. I admit I was quite mad... Didn't even wanted to bother interacting with him, in all honesty but... What was that sudden hug for? In a sense... I hugged him back feeling glad and how I had missed him...
I- I'm pretty sure I was mad at him... but why though at the same time? Mad that he had disappeared on me? Or was it just disappointment of not having his presence around? It- it was hard to explain, I can't wrap my head around it right now, especially Jess! Where is she? What are they doing in there that's taking so long?
So I got out of the car, couldn't wait around any longer, crickets chirped as I walked along the pathway.
"Hello?" I called out very softly. That is how every character in horror films die. Why did I make the same mistake, as if someone would answer back to my hello. The building was really spacious. There were a lot of empty barrels around and it looked like most of them were used for a bonfire.
"Fuck! Fucking piece of shit!" someone yelled out, it echoed in this sinister dark abandoned building.
I hid behind some big pillars and peaked. Alec had that cheeky smirk, Kyle was held down on his knees and Colin looked angry.
