~A/N~
You can skip reading this A/N if you'd like. But for those who's not skipping to read AN(Arthur Note) Hello, Oh. My. Goodness. I did it!! I managed to finish writing a book. I planned the plot of this book and even told my friends in 2019. We're in the middle of freaking 2021! (June 2021) I held back posting it but again I decided to post it anyway. I also had a plan to end this book at chapter 32 but I thought it would not be satisfying, so I continued it a bit further haha. I'm the type of person who always starts a project but never finishes what I've started, instead I'll start a new one! So for me to finish writing a book is incredibly unbelievable for me. 🤣🤣 I would like to thank my friends for their encouraging support as well. I would also like to thank you readers for sticking around and reading :D I really hope you enjoyed it. Until next time 👋 I have a lot more story ideas in my head but I'm just lazy to write em 🤣🤣.

Update: Re-reading this book has made me realise how cliché some of the things are in here 🤣 but in all honesty, I actually wanted to write it in that way. Being a Wattpad user since the days of One Direction fan-fiction was a trending thing and those werewolves and vampire stories were booming. Those chiché nerd girls and the jock boy story dynamics. I've actually always wanted to write those genres but as a kid, I somehow was self-aware that if I wrote those I would find them real cringe once I'm older, so I never really wrote anything publicly online. I guess this book for me is like re-living those days when I didn't have the chance to ride the hype. So even now if it seems a bit outdated, 😅 this is me being I guess you could call it "late to the trend."

The red silky dress I was wearing flowed against the light breeze. It was a lovely evening in the city, the bustling busy roads and the tall buildings with lights illuminating through some windows. A city that never sleeps would be a perfect way to describe it.

Every time I took a step with my right leg it revealed my thigh through the slit of the dress. The golden heels on my feet matched with the colour of my dress I thought.

"Ms.Williams," the driver smiled at me as he opened the car door. In return I smiled back at him and entered the car. I had let my hair grew long, it was now long and wavy. Hopefully, I hoped that the hoop earrings I wore could be seen.

After awhile the driver stopped at the destination we had planned to meet at. The two security guards opened the glass window while I smiled at them as I entered. Another person standing by the elevator pressed the button.

A side of my lip curled up forming a quick smirk, the service they have in this building was admirable. I momentarily wondered whether to buy this building or not. Father would probably ask me how it would benefit us in any way.

It's not his money but he would still criticise my accountability. As I pressed the destined floor button in the elevator I took out my phone to quickly adjust myself a bit. I quickly cleared my throat and let out a nervous breath out.

"Hello," the front receptionist smiled. In return I smiled back, "Hi."

"Did you book or are you just walking in?" she pleasantly smiled. To be honest I wasn't sure, we didn't knew whether if I would make it earlier or he would.

Just as I was about to answer them, Alec was walking by, as soon as he saw me he gave me a smile.

"She's with me," he told the lady. She then let out a, "Ohh," and continued, "Sure, you may go to your table now."

I quickly walked towards him and we walked side by side. We've always talked over text and face timed occasionally but seeing him in person gave me butterflies.
