Maya smiled looking at Josh at the other side of the table.
The two of them were at a fancy restaurant properly celebrating his birthday while Scarlette had a sleepover at Riley's.
"Tell me our daughter is okay. Feels bad that we are here and she is just at my niece's," Josh said and Maya smiled.
"My love, that daughter of yours is crazy about her aunt. She enjoys more being with Riley than hanging out ag fancy places. Believe me," Maya said.
"I know. It's just unbelievable to think that everything had changed so much. She is supposed to still be a kid but she's so grown," Josh said and Maya nod.
"To parenting then," Maya said lifting her wine glass.
"To parenting," Josh said causing their glasses to click.
