Chapter 8 The Lone Wolf

Meanwhile in the mountains Ostrythe, Rex and Nik were on the ski lift getting ready to snowboard. Ostrythe saw a dark pillar of light spike up and it caught his attention. The Dark light vanishes, Ostrythe repeatedly tapping Rex on the face.

"What the hell man!?! What!?!" Rex asked aggressively, knocking Ostrythe's hand away from him.

"Did you see what happened to the sky?" Ostrythe questioned, but the two guys just looked away. The ski lift finally got them to the top of the mountain and they guys are excited to start snowboarding. Ostrythe heard a familiar voice call out to him and look around and sees his childhood friend waving to him. 5'6 young lady with light brown eyes and has long wavy hair that is underneath a hat. She has on green ski gear on and she snowboard as well.

"Zuri it has been awhile. You are still looking gorgeous as always." Ostrythe said complimenting Zuri.

"Mhmm. So I'm gorgeous enough to compliment...But not to date? Mhmm." Zuri questioned, as she put her hand to her chin pondering about what Ostrythe said. Rex and Nik shook their head and started to snowboard down the mountain. Ostrythe let out a evil cartoon laugh and Zuri shook her head started to giggle.

"So you're going to answer my question?" Zuri asked again staring at Ostrythe smirking.

"Go away!!! You know that your father does not like me at all." Ostrythe said as he tried to hide his smile from her. He looked and saw Von covered in blood behind Zuri and ran past her to get to him.

"Von What the hell happened? Who did this to you!?!" Ostrythe shouted, but Zuri tapped him and looked at her with rage. Zuri pointed and he looked again, this time he was a tree.

"So who is Von?" Zuri asked, Ostrythe ball his fist up and then relax. You can't run from your fate... Something echoed in his mind. He got up and looked at Zuri and grabbed his snowboard.

"He's a close friend that needs motivation. But i'll tell later on let's go down the mountain." Ostrythe said, Zuri nodded her head and the both went snowboarding down the mountain. As they were snowboarding down the mountain Ostrythe saw a young light skin man leaning on a tree with a scar across his nose and dark blue hair looking at him. Osrythe was too busy looking at him and didn't notice a tree on his path. Last minute Zuri pushes him into the snow to stop him from crashing to the tree. Ostrythe look but didn't see the man and passed out. 6 hours later he woke up in his bed and got up and left his room to see Zuri in the living room in the lodge that he and his boys were staying in.

"Before you ask, the boys are at a party. And I undressed you and no i didn't want to give you a shirt because you got a big scar on your chest. So before you bullshit me understand you're in the hot seat." Zuri stated, she went to the T.V and turned it on and went to the news channel. Then sat on the couch and looked at him with great concern.

"Tell me...Do you believe in destiny...?" Ostrythe asked, giving a serious vibe. Zuri tried to answer but he cut in.

"There's something that happened in our childhood...I am marked and Vonis as well...He can't remember because everything is sealed... Same goes for me but in order for it to be broken...You..." Ostrythe said but could not finish and punch the wall. Zuri got up and went to him to give him a hug.

"I die... It's always the catch but it's something we can't." Zuri said, trying to finish but Ostrythe interrupted.

"You fell in Love with him and then died because he turned evil. Something about Madness I really understand. I wasn't there to protect you." Ostrythe said, putting his head on the wall.

"You're lying, it's not Von...It's Sawyer isn't...You can't even say his name without losing your cool huh?" Zuri correcting Ostrythe and questioning him. They both heard a Wolf's Howl and Zuri looked outside and saw it's a Full moon. Ostrythe screamed in pain and bolted out the door and ran in the wood. Ostrythe was knocking down trees trying to get a hold of himself. Then fell in the snow looking up to see a big White wolf standing before him. As Ostrythe gazed upon the wolf it spoke to him. Foolish mortal...You haven't committed to the wolfpack. Therefore will turn into a wolf and wander alone forever.

"I will not let you take Zuri away from her family and friends!" Ostrythe shouted at the wolf. You FOOL!! You're bound to the PROPHECY just like he is. You can not deny it, there is unbalance in this world. You will suffer alone...

"I rather suffer alone than see her die!!!" Ostrythe screamed. Then sudden Ostrythe grew wolf fangs, a tail, and ears. Going mad with rage, he saw the same man from before and charged at him. Ostrythe slash at him the man dodge and slip is foot knocking Ostrythe's feet in the air then, elbow him in the stomach smashing him to the ground. Ostrythe flip up mad with rage he used his claw and slash at the man. The impact sent the man back to the tree and the moment, Ostrythe went to finish off the man but Zuri intervened and stretched her arms out shielding the man. Ostrythe slash Zuri knocking her down in the snow. Realizing what he did Ostrythe howled. Zuri faintly smiles reaching out her hand to him.

"Make the pack and I will save your friend." The man said, Ostrythe nodded his head and looked at her. So you again then? We shall go into the mountains and there you will learn the way of the Wolf Marks. Say you goodbye because you aren't to be back on this plain for a while.

"What is your name? I need to know the name of the man, I have hurt myself if anything happens to Zuri" Ostrythe said, turning his head looking at the man at the corner of his eye.

"Call me Rev and it's pleasure to finally meet you Ostrythe." Rev said putting the hood over his head carrying Zuri away. Ostrythe looked at the night sky and let out a sigh.

"Von I will keep my promise I made to you..." Ostrythe said as he walked with the wolf
