Chapter 5 A new beginning

Jack city of Unity of Vagstad in the University of Strife. There was a young man named Von Lyner in his dorm room that was a medium size room that was for just him. Von was a B+ student and stressed out college student. There was banging at his door. Von woke up and got up in his boxers to get the door. Once he opened the door there was a young lady with brown eyes and short dark brown hair with a bookbag and she was 5'7. With her, there was a 5'11 man with a buzz cut hairstyle with light skin with shades on grinning at Von. 

"What do you want Rex and Denise?" Von said not in the mood to talk.

"Yooo why you gotta come to the door indecent." said Rex shaking his head at Von.

"It's my room. I will and can do what I please... What do you two want?"  Von said bluntly with a serious face.

"Well I'm not fully sure but I believe everybody is gathering at the cafeteria. So we went to come get you to see if you wanna join us." said Denise smiling at Von. 

"Screw that! We have to bring your slow ass with us. Finals are coming up and it'll be great to hang up with everyone. But if you wanna be a problem we can crash right here. You know that locking yourself in your room bullshit is getting old."said Rex taunting Von to get him to come out of his room.

"I get it... I'm not really feeling up to hanging out right now... So you guys can go without me. I'll be fine, don't worry about it. It's just something on my mind and I just need to be alone." said Von 

Von closes the door then goes to his bed and plops right down. Hours went by and he kept tossing and turning in his sleep. He started envisioning him in a black void, nothing around him. Then he sees a light skin woman with flowing long light brown hair, a pretty face as he looks closer and sees she had two color eyes one blue in the other light green. He tries to reach out to touch her but right before but suddenly at that moment there is something behind them. A dark figure was shadowing him and his heart began to race. When Von went to turn behind him to see it was nothing and out of nowhere a dark hand grabbed his neck and he jumped out his sleep. Von  heard someone knocking at his door. He looked at his alarm clock and it was only 8 p.m. He got up to open the door and when he did Denise was sitting there smiling as she walked into the room close to the door behind them.

"Get dressed, we're going to go to the cafe and hang out with everyone." Denise said excitedly

"I told you I don't want to be bothered. Why are you still trying to bother me... But if this gets you to stop bothering me... I'll go just wait here." said Von as he puts on his light blue jeans and white t-shirt. Then his white sneakers and after that grabs his olive green leather jacket. At the cafeteria Von and Denise went to meet up with the other friends. But Von's mind began to wonder what grabbed him in that dream. When they got inside the cafeteria they saw their friends sitting at a large table that was put together with other tables sitting around laughing Denise approached them hugging everyone around the table. 

"Hey guys! Is everyone ready for finals?" Denise asks everyone at the table.

"You know it's going pretty well for me. I'm not really too nervous about it although you know, I can't really shake that nerve that last assignment went well." Ostrythe responds to Denise.

"Besides that what are you and your best friend doing? You guys were out all night last week when we had our party." Favian asked as he gave a questioning expression.

"Hey, I bet they were probably boo loving. It would make sense finally. Ryder added in shrugging his arm and trying not to laugh.  But the rest of the gang laugh.

"One I don't know what you're talking about I have no memory about it. Two can I kill you now? because I think no one will miss you." Von stated as he sat down on an empty chair facing away from the group.
