"Who is the boss?" Von asked, as he was confused why he was being warned. Lucy gets up from the chair and grabs Von's arm and pulls him out of the bed. Von looked down and he saw that he was dressed. Lucy opens the door and looks out in the hallway and sees nothing. They started to sneak to the exit, right before they got to the door Lucy heard a sound coming from behind them. She burst through the door and then started running to a motorcycle. Lucy got on the bike and Von on behind her then she drove off.
"What the hell is going on?" Von shouted, looking back and seeing nothing behind them.
"There is a lot going on... But to put it simply is that you're a wanted man Von." Lucy said, Speeding faster on the road.
"Why am I wanted? I don't remember doing anything to anyone..." Von questioned, His mind full of questions trying to figure what the hell is going on. They got to a church and Lucy parked her motorcycle on the side of the church. They both got off and walked to the church door and Lucy kicked the door down. They both walked in but suddenly Von started to have a bit of flashbacks going through his head. Von dropped to the floor and looked at Lucy.
"This is a Keunity church and this is the place you were born." Lucy said looking around in search of something. Von shocked about the news, he got and sat on the bench.
"I'm a part of a group that is trying to stop the Boss from achieving his goal. You are a part of the goal Von." Lucy said going to the altar of the church.
"I don't understand... So what are my burn memories for then? Why do you know so much? Answer me damn it!" Von said as he demanded his questions to be answered. Lucy tried to speak but suddenly out of nowhere a person broke through the roof of the church. He dropped in front of Lucy and punched her in the stomach. The punch sent her flying out of the church and smashed through the wall of a building.
"I am Striker. So you must be the target huh kid." Striker said, giving Von the deadly stare. Von couldn't move because he was paralyzed with fear. Striker walked up to him and grabbed his shirt and lifted him up. With fear in Von's eyes, he closes them bracing himself for the final blow. That moment Lucy dashed in the room and did a kick in a downward motion and her heel smashed down to Striker's head slamming him down to the ground. The force of the kick blast everything away from them. Lucy grabs Von and pushes him back.
"RUN! They found us." Lucy said but suddenly a sword passed Lucy's face as she dodge it. She looked and saw another man walking in the church. With a serious face looking at them. Striker gets up and dust himself off and stretches.
"Roth, I told you already... I got this." Striker said, stretching his neck.
"I'm here because of the kid." Roth said, staring at Von not blinking.
"Come to me Soul Eater. I offer you their souls to eat." Lucy called out. A black orb came from the ground to Lucy's hand and formed a double bladed scythe. Roth and Striker both went for Lucy and the fight began. Roth lifted his hand in the air and his sword from earlier came back to him. Roth started slashing at Lucy but she was deflecting with her Soul Eater. Suddenly Striker came from behind and punched her back. Lucy spit out blood, and smashed to the wall and hit the floor. Von ran to her and thought he could aid her.
"Lucy!! Lucy are you ok!?! Why are you protecting me!?!" Von screamed at her.
"Because silly... You don't deserve to die and it's my destiny to protect you until..." Lucy said but coughing up more blood and smiling at him. Suddenly Von heard a voice in his head. You want more power? Are you tired of being weak? Do you want to crush your enemies? Von gently put Lucy down and got up and faced Roth and Striker. I can help you achieve your true potential... All you have to do is give yourself to the darkness within...
"If that's the only way to protect my friends...Then I accept that! Von said out loud.
"Kill him." Roth said
"AHHHHHH!!!" Von screamed, Then a Black wave shot out and blew everything away. The church was completely destroyed; there was nothing left to be seen of it. Roth and Striker are shocked to see a Dark Aura coming from Von. Von reached out his hand and Soul Eater shook for a few seconds and went to Von. It manifested into a long greatsword and he was holding it with one hand. Far from the screen on top of a building the Boss and his men were standing there watching them.
"There you are. You finally reveal yourself. Hmph Let the Calamity begin." The Boss stated and walked away. Back at the fight Roth and Striker dash toward but notice last second what Von is about to do. His Sword was glowing black like the void. He put the blade on the ground and stashed a Huge Dark energy slash at them.
"Dark Slash!!!" Von called out and that moment a huge explosion that can be seen everywhere. It caught a lot of people's attention. After that Lucy got up and looked and there was a giant hole in the ground and saw that Von passed out. She went up to Von and gave him a piggyback.
"If only you saw what you did that night when we first met..." Lucy said to herself. Meanwhile at the Chapel a knight came into Saul's Room. Interrupting his sleep to deliver the message.
"Your holiness, It happens again another pillar of darkness, pop up in the city." The knight said and then left the room. Saul got up from his bed and walked to the window and gazed at the night sky.
"So it begins... I must kill this person who is the bearer of darkness... Or this will be the end of humanity" Saul said to himself.
