Meanwhile surrounded by darkness Von is floating in the abyss. He looked around and saw nothing in sight.
"Hello!! Is anyone there?" Von shouted as he looked around and received no response back. Realizing he is alone Von held his head and had a flashback of him in a burning village.
"Hmmm...You're quieter than I thought." A deep mysterious voice said, Von looked up and saw nothing. But suddenly there was a dark figure leaning on him with his arms cross. Von flinching with this mysterious dark figure he fell back. As Von realized there was no ground he kept falling. As his heart dropped and the fear of height he had, Von screamed as loud as he could like someone was going to save him. Thinking this is all of a bad dream he closes his eyes hoping to wake up but instead of that happening something else happens.
"What do you think you're doing?" The same voice said to him. Von opening his eyes and looking forward sees the dark figure in front of his face. The dark figure punched Von's chest and sent him flying back and he slammed on the street ground. Von got up and looked around and saw a street light that was red. Then he saw stores and tall buildings. Von has an understanding that he is standing in a modern city in the middle of a 4 way intersection. The dark figure walked to him and started to change into a brown tone man. He is wearing dark blue ripped jeans. The ripped part is on the left side by his kneecap. He was wearing a sleeveless black jean jacket with a white t-shirt. He had long twists in his hair that covered half of his face. The tips of his hair are red and the rest is black. Von was shocked to see another person but was still curious about the man.
"Who are you? What is this place?" Von asked the mysterious man.
"Call me World because this is your soul world and I'm your guide." World responds to Von. Then suddenly it started to rain in the empty city and World stretched out his hand out in front of him.
"Come from within me Anxiety." World said and that moment a black skull pommel rose from the ground. World pulled it out a greatsword from the ground there was a double sided curve guard that was opposite from each both guards are black and red. The blade itself was black and engraved on it was the name Savage. World aimed at Von and Anxiety started to glow.
"If you're going to kill me, do it quickly." Von said, bracing himself for the slash.
"This is your Relic that is bound to you. You can't be killed with it. People like you don't know that." World said, sticking the greatsword in the ground. Von walked up to Anxiety and placed his right hand on it. The greatsword reacted to Von and it glowed brightly.
"If you can tame it...You can break the seal memories that are holding you back. All you have to do is pull it out and slash it at the sky." World said as he leaned on the air like it was a wall there. Von looked at him and then the greatsword. Von started to pull and nothing happened. This time he pulled it and a Red aura shot out of him and caused Von to back up from the greatsword. World squinted at Von as he saw something out of the normal. Von stretched his body and planted his feet and grit his teeth. Then grabbed Anxiety with his right hand and started to pull with all his might. A burst of black aura blowing out of the ground and suddenly the rain started to get heavier and heavier. Von started to feel like he was on fire because every muscle within him was beginning to tear apart. Von screamed violence due to the pain that he was feeling.
"It feels like you're in hell right? That is because you're offering your soul to it for more power. If you aren't ready to give it up...Anxiety won't accept you...You'll just going to kill yourself..." World explained to Von. Von looked in the air and saw the dark rain clouds. Out of nowhere Von started to grind as like he is enjoying the suffering that he is going through.
"Your madness is seeping out of you. I'm not going to explain that but remember that because she will explain that to you later on." World said
"I...Need...I...Must...Protect..." Von shouted, struggling to talk and spit out blood. World looked shocked at him. He wanted to reach out to push Von away but instead he started to cross his arms and look away very upset. There is nothing that World can do.
"Don't give up...If you want to protect those that you care for strive for it. If you want to follow in your father's footsteps then do it. This can't not be your end Von...You everyone's last hope...You can achieve what we all believe in and build towards too!!!" World said as he raised his voice at Von. That moment Von pulled Anxiety from the ground with his right arm.
"DARK SLASH!!!" Von scream, releasing a huge powerful blast wave that cleared the sky and showed the full moon. World nodded his head of approval and looked at Von. Von's right arm was behind his back with the greatsword in his hand. Von was panting a lot struggling to catch his breath.
"How does it feel to wield a weapon created by a legend?" World asked Von looking at the beautiful night sky and ignored his question. World smirk and stretch his hand out to Von. He handed the greatsword back to the World and looked at him. World put the greatsword behind his back and started to walk away.
"Where are you going?" Von asked him.
"It's time for me to leave. Call on us if you need help. You aren't alone you know." World said, continuing to walk away and then stop.
"Hey World, who made Anxiety? Von asked
"Your father did...Unfortunately Legends die..." World responded and smiled faintly.
"You're wrong... Legends don't die." Von said confidently. World tilted his head to the right and smirked at Von. White angel's wing spouted out of his back and flew away to the moon and faded away. Von looked up at the moonlight and watched the feathers fall gently and he reached out and grabbed one. Von closes his eyes slowly and then wakes up in a forest on Lulu's lap.
"You're finally awake." Lulu said, smiling at him. Von gets up and stretches his arms. Lulu noticed something in Von's hand and quickly grabbed it.
"So what is this?" Lulu asked him. Von looks at the blazing sun and puts his arm over his face blocking the sunlight.
"Something that is very important to me Lucy." Von said as he smirked at Lulu.
