I groan as my alarm went off. Sighing, I got up and rushed to bathroom and prepared myself for work. The thought of seeing Alex made my tummy explode with butterflies. I don't know why but he makes me feel extremely nervous.
After showering, I quickly tied my hair in bun and went into my closet to find something simple to wear today. Searching for an outfit, I smiled to myself as I found one.

After getting dressed, I went to kitchen and made a quick sandwich and played games until it was time to leave.
Few minutes later, I went downstairs and got cab and went on my way to work.

At Martin Enterprises
I arrived at work paying the driver and walked in. Using my badge, it signed me in and I got on the elevator.
"We meet again" he said and I looked up to see the guy from last time.
"Seems so, by the way I am Skylar" I said.
"Justin, nice to meet you officially" he said and I smile nodding.
"Do you work here?" I asked.
"No, I am here for business actually, I own Adam's & Co about few blocks from here" he said and I remember reading about him.
"My apologies" I said and he chuckled.
"No worries" he was cut off by the elevator stopping.
"Mind if I get your number?" he asked as we stepped off and I started to blush.
"Sure" I said and gave him.
"See you soon Skylar" he winked at me and walked off and I went to the office.
Opening the door, I was greeted with a huge smile from Serenity.
"I see your here early and ready" she said smiling.
"Yes because I have to fix my office" I said.
"Its already done, my son felt the need to force a few people to fix your office while you left" she said but I was shocked at the word 'son'.
"Alex is your son?" I asked and she nodded.
"Yes, his father and I are separated long time ago but a year ago his dad died and he took over" she said and I felt bad.
