Skylar's POV
Funeral

Combing my hair for the 100th time today, I tried to contain myself from going crazy. These past weeks have been the most time consuming of my life.

When I got home from the hospital, everyone demanded I should rest myself but I needed a distraction from crying or thinking. My body still hurts but it's bearable and my blood pressure has gone down but I have to make sure it stays that's way.

Vanessa visited me and came by with the will for me to read. She then explained how our parents invested money into a company and it turned out well for them before they died. I got 10 million and the house I used to live in. I already decided to sell the house because it holds to much memories for me. As for the rest of the family members, they called and checked up on me.

Eventually we all had decided it is time to plan the funeral so it began. We had to decide on the colors for the funeral because Sarah and Timothy didn't specify. Gwen was hell bent on choosing bright colors but deep down I knew they wouldn't of wanted it so we all decided on black, white and red.

Contacting family members was a bit difficult. These are people that I have never met in my life but they all knew who Vanessa and I were, even Tyra. They all treated me with respect and I returned it. I was grateful that no one was stuck up and rude.

All the work eventually was split between the four of us to make things easier but Gwen decided she couldn't handle doing it because she is still mourning so I took it upon myself to take her task which caused me and Alex to argue. He had dedicated himself to making sure I don't stress or overwork myself and even tried to lock me in our room once. My friends didn't budge because my health was important to them. I wanted to be mad at them but I couldn't because they were just cared.

"Ready?" I heard Alex asked.

"Yeah" I said nervously.

Finishing up, I looked in the mirror and felt satisfied

Finishing up, I looked in the mirror and felt satisfied. I wore black since I didn't feel the need to stand out today. I'm sure the rest are planning to wear white or red. Grabbing the envelope that contained my speech, I head out to meet with everyone.

"Shhh, she is coming" I heard whispers.

Walking in the living room, I see them shuffling and whispering to themselves. They all saw me and stood up with sad smiles.

"Are you okay?" Stella broke the silence.

"I am fine, so everybody you can relax and let's head out" I said and they nod.

Alex intertwined our hands and we walked out of the hotel room. Walking into the elevator, Emily decided we should take selfie. I personally tried to hold myself together as I tried not to put too much thought about today's event.
