A year has passed and life has been going great for everyone. Skylar and Alex were still married and going strong since they said 'I do'. Now their daughter Tyra also turned one. She was a little ball of sunshine and very smart for her age. She was already walking and saying a few words which made her parents feel proud yet sad their little girl was growing up.
Anna and Miguel recently got married and opened a restaurant named after their child who was born a few months before they were married. Michael Martin was the next heir to the throne until Alex gets a son. They were also going strong and happy. Anna has been healthy so she was really cancer free.
Emily and Leo had their twins and everyone was happy. They had a boy named Emil and a girl named Leona. Everyone were in love with their names and helped them as it was difficult process but they were happy. They were also going strong and enjoying every minute together as a family.
Stella and Justin finally got married but Stella still couldn't get pregnant which took a toll on them. They decided on adoption and they have a baby boy named Ken who actually looked like them. Even though it was hard for them in the beginning Justin meant through thick and thin and stayed to fight with Stella as well as the her friends and family.
As for the parents Michelle and Ethan were still married and going strong. Serenity and Anthony renewed their vows when their 25th anniversary came and made sure to stick to it. Scott was still in prison but Lina, his ex-wife made sure to keep him in the loop checking in on everyone making sure they were safe. He regretted hurting them but he was glad they were at peace.

Skylar's POV
"Where are your shoes?" I looked around and spot Tyra holding them.
I laughed as the little girl was oblivious to how confused I was. I then put on her shoes as we were going to a family barbecue. Alex was already at his parents place helping them out.
"Mama" Tyra cried and I lift her up.
Making sure nothing was wrong with her, she laid her head on my shoulder. I smiled as she always does this when she wanted comfort.
Trying to get my keys, I locked our door and put the alarm system on. Walking towards my car, I opened the door and put Tyra in her carseat. She was already a little sleepy so I let her rest herself.
Getting in the car, I drove off. Today was one of regular barbecue weekends. It became a family tradition when we did it after Emily's birth with the twins. Finally pulling up to house, I parked my car and took Tyra out as she slept on my shoulder.
Alex then opened the door and smiled as he saw us both. He immediately kissed my lips and took Tyra putting her in the room. I walked towards the backyard and the smell of grilling meat hits me. I quickly rushed outside and saw everyone was already there.
"Hey"everyone smiled greeting me.
I laughed at little at the fact that Emily went blonde but she looked good. I then hugged each of them one by one. I then spot Anthony and Serenity laughing at the grill with my parents.
Serenity first saw me and smiled" Hi sweetie" she hugged me.
"Hey ma, pa " I hugged my mom and Ethan.
"Smells good" I complimented Anthony.
"As it always does" he chuckled.
I tried to steal a piece of meat but my mom stopped me. I then went back over to my friends as I sat down. I wondered about the kids but apparently they were all asleep.
"Ken is going to be death of us" Stella laughed.
"Why do you say that?" Leo asked and Alex joined us kissing my cheek.
"He barely sleeps at night and keeps us up" Justin complained and we laughed.
"Emil and Leona always sleep, I think if we were to leave them alone to sleep they wouldn't eat" Emily joked.
"Tyra is the same way" Alex said and they smiled.
"Where is my nephew?" I asked wanting see Michael.
"With his father sleeping" Anna laughed and it clicked that Miguel wasn't around.
"Please don't tell me he is upstairs sleeping" I said and they nod.
I laughed as Miguel never left his son's side since the day he was born.

Finally it time for dinner and everyone was downstairs around the benches outside. Anna held Michael while Miguel prepared their burgers. Tyra was sitting on her dad's lap trying to take piece of the burger. Emily had Leona while Leo had Emil sitting on their laps. Ken was 2 so he was sitting between his parents laughing at what we were talking about like he knew what they were saying.
"Tyra wait until we all eat" Alex said in his baby voice and she pouts causing everyone to laugh.
A
fter the food was shared properly everyone began to eat and engaged in a conversation. I loved these moments with my family. I laughed as Miguel explained why he was always tired but everyone knew the real reason why.
Anthony then stood up " I just want to say, I love you all and I hope we have many years together" he smiled and we cheered.
Night time was falling and we all just watched the stars enjoying the night under the bliss. If you told me years ago that I would be married and had a kid I would say it was impossible but I was more than grateful. I looked around at everyone and smiled.
They were my everything and I would kill for each one of them. I smiled as my eyes connect with Alex and he blew me a kiss causing me to blush. He kept his promise this time and I owe it all to him.
