"I Promise"

Skylar's POV

Today was Saturday but it was a very meaningful one because Anna finally leaves the hospital but she will be doing her treatments here. I was currently making breakfast for everyone. Miguel, Leo were also here decorating the room where Miguel will be giving her a promise ring.

He was sure about it and even though they only started dating for 2 months he loved her. As for Alex, Emily and Serenity they were dealing with the doctors fixing the guest rest room for her treatments.

Things have been peaceful since our last encounter with Scott. Everybody was actually at ease except Alex as he was still on edge. Deep down I was worried too but things were okay. My mom will also be joining us later to meet everyone.

"Ready!" I shout as I finished sharing the food.

Loud chattering filled the place as everyone came to the kitchen. Em quickly ran towards and hugged me. She grabbed her plate and took a seat on the bar stool. Everybody else came and grab a plate and started eating.

I waited for everyone's response but the moans that came out of their mouths were good enough for me.

"Damn you can cook" Miguel said and I laughed.

"Watch your mouth" Serenity slapped him and he winced.

"Sorry" he said and we laughed.

We all engaged in a conversation about today's plans. Everyone was in a good mood. We finished eating and everyone continued to go back to their duties. I was washing the dishes when I felt hands wrapped around my waist.

"So I wanna ask you something?" he asked and kissed my neck.

"Okay" I turned to him wrapping my hands around his neck.

"It might be early but maybe when things cool down, you could move in for good" he said and I smiled so hard.

"Yes" I said and he kissed me.

"Why do I always see you guys?" we turned to Pablo as he smiled.

"You ship us though" I teased and he chuckled.

"What's up Pablo?" Alex asked.

"Anna parents and the doctors are preparing to discharge her tonight" Pablo said and I smiled.

Seeing Anna outside of an hospital will be amazing. I was glad she was getting better. Pablo then asked Alex to talk privately and I knew something was off. Trying not to think I decided to help out everyone else.

Alex's POV

"What's wrong?" I asked and Pablo sighed.

"Scott filed for a divorce with his wife and Lina wants to meet Miguel" he said and I felt a little nervous about Miguel meeting his real mother.

"He also took out a huge loan as well" Pablo said.

"For what?" I asked curiously.

"Were trying to figure that out" he said and I sighed of frustration.

I heard Pablo's ear rang and I saw him speak into it but I was more worried about my brother. How do I break this to him?
