"I Promise"

Skylar's POV

"Sky!" I groaned as I looked up to see Alex hovering over me. I sat up and realized that I was still in the hospital.

"Come on you need to eat" he said and I then I noticed food in his hands. I smiled and he laughed and handed it to me.

I look across to see Leo and Emily waking up. Looking around I saw Miguel who looked like he didn't even rest.

"Is he okay?" I asked Alex.

"Nope but I got this, eat up" Alex rubbed my shoulder and walked over to his brother.

I began to eat the food Alex gave me and then Emily sat down next to me. I wanted to laugh at how ridiculous she looked and if she knew she would probably freaked.

"Something wrong?" she asked and I nod no and she glared at me.

She took out her phone and pressed the camera app and freaked out. I started to laugh a little and almost choked on my food.

"That's what you get for laughing" she laughed and I shooed her.

"Where is my food?" Leo asked pouting.

"Dude get some yourself" Alex said and Leo groaned getting up.

The boys then got up and went for food and I shared mine with Emily. We both let out deep breaths as we knew there wasn't much to say so we sat in silence and eat.

Eventually visiting hours began and we finished eating. Trying to put myself together, I see Emily breathing hard.

"Em are you okay?" I asked worried.

"I just can't look at her and not cry Sky" she said as tear escaped from her eyes and I knew how she felt.

"We have to try because she wouldn't want us to treat her differently" I wiped her tear and she gave a faint smile.

We both got up and walked to her room. Looking inside she was already up but she looked very pale and drained. Thankfully she has the best doctors all thanks to Miguel. We walked in and she slowly sat up. I looked at Emily as tears were falling from her eyes. Here comes the waterworks.

"I can't deal with anymore tears" Anna cried and I felt myself getting teary.

"Sit" Anna patted the bed and Emily and I sat on both sides and she held our hands.

"I want you guys to promise me something" she said and we gave her our attention.

"Promise me that nothing changes" she said and we sighed.

"I know for a fact you both have work to attend so here is the deal" she said and we smiled at her. Not even cancer can stop her from being bossy.

"I will tell the doctors that everyone is family and you can visit after visiting hours end and we fight this together" she smiled and we laughed.

"Okay fine" I smiled.

"Okay we promise" Em said and she smiled.

"I love you guys" she said and we hugged her.

There was knock on the door and then Leo peeped through the door.
