Follow up short based on my previous oneshot, "The Perfect Drink" :)

Hinata entered the familiar coffee shop, the bell by the door dinging as he entered. Kageyama looked up to see who it was.
"Hey Kageyama!" Hinata greets, a huge grin plastered on his face. Kageyama gave a small smile back and a wave.

Hinata walked up to the counter.
"So, are you ready for our date?" He asks, jumping a bit from excitement. Kageyama pats his head,
"Dumbass, I've got one more hour before my shift ends." Kageyama replied, letting out a small laugh.

"That's okay, I'll wait for you then!" Hinata says.
"Would you like anything to drink while you wait?" The barista asks.
"That drink you made me before...what was it again?? Oh yeah, Sunshine Frappe!"
Hinata answers with a wide smile. He goes to to take some money out but he felt a hand on his.

"It's on the house. I'll let you have it for free today." Kageyama says as he turns around to start making the drink. Hinata blinked as his face heated up, walking towards his usual seat.

Kageyama finishes Hinata's drink as he brings it over to him. The shorter male's eyes light up with excitement upon seeing the beverage. Hinata takes the drink as he gulps it down.
"Woah woah, slow down there." Kageyama tells the other. Hinata stops sipping for a bit, saying
"But it's so delicious!!" before sipping again.

Tobio couldn't help but laugh at his behaviour as he kisses the other's forehead, going back towards the counter to finish his shift. The corner of Shoyo's lips tug up into a grin upon receiving the gesture.

After an hour has passed, Kageyama is finally done with his shift. He changes out of his work attire and comes out. He approaches Hinata who was sitting on a bar stool, staring out the window with his chin on his palm. Tobio hugs him from behind, wrapping his arms around the smaller figure's body. Shoyo, slightly startled, relaxes once he realized it was just Kageyama.

Laughing, Hinata asks, "Are we ready to go now?", as he spins around to face the taller male.
"Mhm, shift's all done. Let's go now." Kageyama says, offering a hand to Hinata. The other gladly accepts it, giggling along the way. The pair leave the cafe and started walking down the street, hand in hand.

They reached a nearby field with pretty flowers littered around the area. Hinata took notice of the place and started to drag Kageyama along with him. Both laughing away, they did all sorts of things. They ran through the field, they danced through the field.

They eventually ran out of breath from all the moving, the laughing and the giggling. Hinata and Kageyama decided to sit on a patch of grass in the open area. They caught their breaths as they just sat down, enjoying each other's presence.

Hinata plucked little flowers from the ground and started to make a crown. Tobio's gaze watched Shoyo's hands as he weaves the flowers between each other. Kageyama asks if Hinata could teach him and so he did. They weaved the flowers they picked all the while talking to each other. Once they were finished they placed the flower crowns on each other's heads. Kageyama's one was a bit more messier though Shoyo didn't mind.

The sun was setting, the pair had been talking about all sorts of things for a few hours. Kageyama turned to look at the smaller male. With the sunset, Hinata's eyes shone brighter. The way the light hits his face and hair too, Tobio noticed.

"Oi, Kageyama. Is there something on my face?" Hinata asks after realizing the other had been staring at him
"...Yes." Kageyama answers.
"Really? What is it?" Hinata tilts his head to the side.

"This." Tobio mutters as he quickly places a kiss on Shoyo's lips. Hinata melted into it after a moment as Kageyama pulled the orange-haired boy onto his lap with Hinata wrapping his arms around the taller male's shoulders. Hinata entangled his fingers in Kageyama's hair as the other did the same.

They pulled apart for air, lightly panting. Both of them gazed into each other's eyes.
"...Thanks for today, Tobio." Hinata says as he smiles. Kageyama blushed upon hearing the other say his name.
"It was my pleasure...Shoyo.." Kageyama replies, putting their foreheads together.
Hinata's smile grew wider at that.

For awhile,
they forgot about their problems.
For awhile,
they were the only ones in the world.
For awhile, no,
for as long as it is,
they were truly, genuinely happy to be in each other's arms.
