A songfic inspired by the song "If I Could Ride A Bike" by Chevy & Park Bird :))
Genre: Fluff/Angst
578 Words (I'll make longer ones soon!)"If I could ride a bike, I'd zoom across the world with you sitting there behind me."
Bokuto and Akaashi were bound to get together. They compliment each other very well, like two halves of a whole. It's like they were made for each other.
"I'll take you to places, past several faces. Just living life so carefree."
Akaashi would do anything for Bokuto. He wouldn't admit it, but the setter would sometimes daydream a lot about them, imagining a future with his ace. A future where they were both living together happily.
"If I could sail a boat, I'd cruise across the sea. A sweet adventure for us two."
Akaashi would always listen to Bokuto whenever he spoke about his plans for the future to which Keiji would tell him that he'd support Koutarou in his ambitions.
"I'll be Jack and you Rose, just please don't let me go 'cause I'd be nothing without you."
"I wouldn't know what I'd do without you." Is a line the pair frequently said to each other because it was quite true. Without Bokuto's optimism and energy, Akaashi wouldn't be able to feel better whenever he was down.
"Oh when you call me, I'm drifting on clouds like I'm dreaming."
The way Akaashi's name rolled off of Bokuto's tongue whenever he called out to him made butterflies flutter in the setter's stomach. The little affectionate kisses and hugs throughout the day never failed to make Keiji smile.
"But in the morning, I wake up and see that you're stuck here with me."
Akaashi's favourite sight is waking up to a sleeping Bokuto. The way his hair was fluffy and unkept, the look of peacefulness present on his face, and the little snores occasionally coming from the ace made Keiji fall deeper in love with the dork as he smiles lovingly at him.

"Oh when you call me, I'm drifting on clouds like I'm dreaming."
"Keiji?" Bokuto calls out. Akaashi was washing the dishes in their shared dormitory.
"Yes, Koutarou?" Keiji replies, turning off the faucet to face the other.
"I...I'm tired of being your boyfriend." Akaashi was taken aback by his statement.
"H-huh? Koutarou, did I do something wrong? Why?" The setter asked, feeling a lump in his throat.Bokuto kneels down as he retrieves a velvet box from his back pocket. He gives a loving smile to Akaashi.
"Because I want you to become my husb-"*alarm ringing*
"But in the morning, I wake up and see that you're stuck here with me."
Akaashi jerked himself awake. He slowly sits up in his bed as tears slip out from his eyes. He glanced over to the empty space beside him.
"Oh," Keiji sighs, wiping away his tears with the heel of his hand.
"It was just a dream.""If only you knew what I would do for you, I'd jump up and hold you so tightly."
Keiji watches as Koutarou proposes to his girlfriend. The ace had asked for him to help with the proposal and the setter couldn't say no to him.
Akaashi never got the chance to tell Bokuto his feelings. He never tried to because he was afraid of losing him.
"But I will never be able to do these things. So I'm just left imagining."
He claps along with Koutarou's other teammates as the girl accepted the proposal. He smiles at the pair despite the tears streaming down his face.
"At least he's happy."
