~Shownu~

I sent many foods to Minhyuk's house to make up for my absence yesterday. I was thinking of a plan for what to do for him.

I sent him an ice bear so maybe I'll buy him something that represents him.

A hamster? I don't know if he's allergic to a real one so I'll just buy a hamster keychain.

I was thinking of more things to do when I heard a notification from my phone.

A message from Jooheon?

I opened it and a picture of Kihyun popped up, he was sleeping while hugging the bear that I gave.

How cute.

I hope he forgives me.

I can sleep peacefully now that I know that he didn't throw away my gift.

I woke up early so that I can go to school earlier than Kihyun. Minhyuk and Hyungwon are helping in stalling him for a few minutes so that I can do my plan.

I bought the hamster keychain in the shop near the school.

I walked to the gate, only a few students were there.

I slowly walked to where our lockers were located, Minhyuk told me that Kihyun doesn't bother to lock his locker after classes.

I opened his locker and there was nothing much inside. Just books and other school necessities.

I found it strange that the locker doesn't have any design or personalization. It's just a plain locker.

No pictures, no nothing. He doesn't even have a picture of his family.

I placed my gift inside the locker. I saw Hyungwon, Jooheon, and Minhyuk walking down the hallway.

Hyungwon went straight ahead to our classroom while the other two walked towards me.

"Have you done it?" Jooheon asked.

"Yeah, how about Kihyun? Where is he?" I asked I was nervous that he saw me placing the gift inside.

"I stalled him and he got pissed so I ran out." Minhyuk laughed.

"What did you do?" I didn't want him to be stressed about it.

"Well I asked for food and more food, he hated being late so he ended up being pissed about it. But he didn't give me my food, I was serious about it." he pouted.

"Then I'll buy you anything you want later," Jooheon said.

They're acting the other way around. Jooheon was supposed to be the baby and Minhyuk was supposed to be the one comforting the latter.

"He's here"

Jooheon pointed out Kihyun who was slowly walking in.

I acted like I was busy talking to Jooheon.

I saw him pass by, he walked to the lockers.

I'm scared that he'll just throw it away, I hope he doesn't.

I saw him open his locker, his eyes widened. I guess he saw the box.

When he saw my gift, a smile appeared on his face.

I felt relieved that he liked it.

I saw that he placed the keychain on his bag and walked inside the classroom.

Him smiling is the best thing that I received today.

Sadly I can't do anything on the other half of the day since I'm training.

I continued placing gifts in his locker until he talks to me.

I was walking on the sidewalk, I passed by the café that he was working at. There are a few people inside so I decided to pay a quick visit.

I stood in the line for a few minutes until it was my turn. He was busy counting money so he didn't notice me.

"Good afternoon, what would you like to order." he smiled, still counting the money.

"C-can I talk to you?" I stuttered.

"Sure" he looked up and his smile disappeared.

"Shownu? What are you doing here?"

I'm not used to him calling me Shownu.

"I wanted to pay a visit."

"Oh, really?"

"Look, I'm sorry. Please, talk to me."

"I am talking to you," he replied, avoiding my gaze.

"I'm sorry, I was busy training for our swimming competition tomorrow."

"Fine, I'll talk to you."

I'm so happy that he accepted my apology.

"But only if you win the competition."

"Okay, okay, but will you watch it?"

I need my source of inspiration.

"That's a secret, maybe or maybe not."

I was so happy that I got a chance to talk to him.

I needed to leave the café because many people were arriving and I have to train.

I was so exhausted at the end of the day but I know that it's worth it.

I sent the location of the competition to Jooheon so he'll help me tell our friends. I do hope he comes.

I missed talking to him, interacting with him today is enough for me.

I laid down on my bed and stared at the ceiling. I started drifting off but my phone vibrated.

I grabbed it, I learned from my mistakes so I never ignored a message again.

My screen opened, showing a message notification from Jooheon.

"Hyung, I have a video of our performance. Minhyuk is the one that filmed it."

I watched a video that was sent to me.

I watched it but I didn't see Kihyun that much. It's more like a fan cam, a Jooheon fancam.

I saw Kihyun in some parts of the video, I don't understand his expression. It's blank.  He only smiles when it's his turn.

I didn't see him that much so I hoped that Hyungwon might have a video of them.

Fortunately, he did film and I was right about Kihyun's expressions.

I feel so bad about it.

I rested my head on my pillow, I didn't even realize that I fell asleep.
