~Kihyun~

All of our attention was given to the person knocking on the door.

"Who's that?" I asked.

"Kihyun-ah, can you answer the door for me?" Hyungwon requested.

I rolled my eyes at my lazy friend.

I answered the door and found Hyunwoo standing in the doorway. Holding a rose.

"Hyunwoo?"

"For you." he placed the rose infront of me.

"Thank you" I took the rose from his hand.

"Do you like it?"

"I sure do......come in."

I don't know why I like this giant baby bear so much.

But something is stopping me from being his boyfriend.

Fear.

My thoughts were disturbed by Hyunwoo calling me.

"Hamzzi, sit down beside me."

I quickly closed the door and sat down beside him.

"Have you eaten?" he asked, taking a bite from the pizza slice that's in his hands.

"I did, thanks for the smoothie by the way."

"No problem......have you taken your medicine?"

"Yes."

All we did the whole day was bond with each other.

We played games, watch movies and other fun things.

Hyunwoo continued to court me everyday. As if he doesn't get tired of it.

We were on our way to school the next day, I was with Hyungwon when we passed by Bang Chan.

We have known each other for years but we barely talk even though we are always in the same class.

"Hyung" he said, making us stop on our tracks.

"Hyunwoo Hyung wants to give you this." he handed over an envelope.

"Thank you."

"Well, I got to go, bye." he immediately ran into our school.

I took a look inside and found another blue note. "Value yourself as much as you value others."

I wish I could, but I can't.

"What's inside?" Hyungwon tried to take a peek but I quickly hid it in my pocket.

"Nothing."

"Aish! We've been friends for years and you're not going to tell me?"

"Nope" I stand firm on my ground.

"Yeah whatever, I don't even care."

"Yeah right."

We ran into our school when we realized that our classes are about to start.

We were getting our things from our locker when I heard our principal.

"Mr. Yoo, may I talk to you and Jooheon in the principal's office?

I smiled in response and called Jooheon who was inside our classroom.

I was nervous but it turns out that the teachers were just telling us to go to school early so we can practice and so that it will not interfere with our other schedules.

I decided that I will rest for a bit in my house after school, go to the training center with Hyunwoo afterwards then work at the café in the afternoon.

It's a tight schedule but I'm used to it.

The problem is that I would always get dizzy and lightheaded so my friends will always watch me.

Many days have passed and I have received the other two letters from Hyunwoo.

The 5th blue note contains, "Every day is a fresh start."

While the 6th blue note contains, "You do you, never let anyone bring you down."

The notes that he was gave me helped me a lot.

It helped me move on from the past that I can't leave behind.

I received the 7th blue note today, I thought that he gave up but it turns out that he planned to give it to me while I'm working.

I received two envelopes from my boss.

My heart feels warm everytime I received an envelope. It really shows that he puts effort to the gifts and letters that he gives to me.

He still does the number thing on the envelope.

I opened the envelope that has the number one infront.

It contains a white note, "21 more days to go"

I haven't realized that it's already been a week since he started courting me. Time passed by quickly.

I grabbed the other one which I am guessing that contains the blue note and I was right.

"One smile can't change the world, but your smile changes mine."

Since I was on a break, I decided to call him.

"Hello?" he asked from the other line.

"Hi, Hyunwoo" I replied enthusiastically.

"Hamzzi! Why did you call me? Do you miss me?"

"Yes I do."

"Oh wait, I got to go, Bye." he ended the call even before I got to reply.

I was about to enter the room in the back when I felt strong arms around my waist, pulling me away from the door.

"Hyunwoo? I thought you're going somewhere."

"I do, I went here."

"You're grip is getting tight."

"Sorry."

When he broke the hug, I turned to him.

"For you" he gave me another rose.

"Thank you......but where did it came from? You were hugging me earlier and I didn't see any rose."

"Back pocket."

Then we heard the back door open.

"Oh, Hyunwoo, you're here. For Kihyun, right?"

"Yes"

"You're just on time."

"But my shift will end at night." I reasoned, I'm confused, what's happening?

"You're free for the day." the owner smiled.

"But....." I was cut off by the owner who told me that my shift ended.

She went back to the room while I ended my shift.

"What happened?"

"I texted her to give you a time off"

"Why would you do that?" I smacked his arm. Firm. "She's so nice to me."

"Cause I have something to show you."

"Wait, are you close to her?"

"Not really, but my mom is. She helped her when the café was in debt a few weeks back."

"Oh, really? You're family are such good people."

"Thank you........now let's go."

He grabbed my wrist and pulled me out of the café.
