~Kihyun~

All of my friends went back home after school ended while I searched for a job. I was walking on the sidewalk to reach the café that I'm working on when I saw a shop with a poster on the window.

They were looking for a waiter. The owner told me that my shift isn't going to start until she comes back from the supermarket. She usually takes an hour so I thought I could give it a try.

The owner of the shop is very nice, she told me that she's a friend of the café owner. She told me that I could work in her shop before my shift starts in the café.

I told the café owner that I have another job and she shortened my shift in her shop because she said that I shouldn't overwork myself but I'll still receive the same amount paid. They are so nice, no wonder they're friends.

Saturday came and I still can't imagine how awkward it will be with Hyunwoo in my team.

We went shopping for the materials that we need and for the snacks that they want. I don't want to make Hyunwoo pay so we divided the costs of the materials by four.

When we arrived at Hyunwoo's house, there was like a force stopping me to step on their porch.

Hyungwon grabbed my hands and pulled me into the porch.

I hid behind stayed behind the two of my friends while Hyunwoo was struggling to open the door.

He managed to open the door but he suddenly stopped. I can't see the reason why he stopped because my friends were blocking the view.

"Shownu, look who's here." I heard his mom said.

I don't want to see who his mom is referring to because I can't help but remember that day that he "proposed" to me but my curiosity got the best of me. I pushed Jooheon to the side and saw a beautiful girl sitting on the couch.

I looked at Hyunwoo and he was smiling from ear to ear. He rushed up to her and gave her a tight hug.

Tears started to form in my eyes. I don't know what to feel, who is she? Who is she in his life? Is she his girlfriend that I didn't know about?

"I didn't know that your friends are going to be here." his mother said. "Why don't you guys take a seat?" she gestured the three of us to a seat beside her.

"I'm sorry Mrs. Son but I'm afraid that something came up." I looked at my phone and pretended that I received an "important" message.

Tears filled my eyes, I couldn't see them like that any longer.

Hyungwon looked at me, he was worried but I managed to give a fake smile.

I turned back to Mrs. Son and gave her the same smile before closing the door behind me.

I ran, I ran as fast as I could. I don't know where I'm going but I know that I have to go away far from here.

Tears streamed down my face as I stopped in a dark alley. My knees became weak. I couldn't stand. I couldn't even move. I curled up into a ball where I busted into tears.

~Hyungwon~

When we arrived in Shownu's house, I saw that Kihyun was hesitating to step foot in the property even on the porch.

I pulled him into the porch but he hid behind me. As usual, Shownu was struggling to open the door.

After a few tries, he managed to open the door, revealing a middle-aged woman who I am guessing that is his mother and a young lady sitting on the couch.

Kihyun didn't bother to look but when he heard Mrs. Son's voice, he pushed Jooheon to the side.

I tried to stop him from seeing the girl that is now hugging Shownu but it's already too late, he saw it.

Tears formed in his eyes when he saw Shownu hugging the girl.

He lied about seeing something come up in his phone when it's battery died earlier.

Shownu was too busy talking to the girl to notice the lie in Kihyun's voice.

I'm worried about him, I looked at him but he simply gave me a fake smile.

He gave the same smile to Mrs. son before closing the door. I quickly opened it and I saw him running away.

Jooheon and I quickly followed him but we lost him again.

We followed the path that we took that led us to a dark alley.

He was there, curled up into a ball, crying.

"Why are you crying?" I acted like I don't know why. I just couldn't understand him. He dumped him but he is now crying when he saw him with a girl.

"H-hyungwon, can you please be my fake boyfriend?" he asked desperately. I was caught off guard with his question.

"What?" as much as I want to be his boyfriend, I can't tolerate what he wants. He is just saying this to overcome what he feels right now.

"No." I do not want to take advantage of his vulnerability even if it's just a "pretend" thing.

"But Hyung, why are you crying? Are you jealous? You're cause you're asking Hyungwon to be your fake boyfriend to make him jealous as well." Jooheon said. Kihyun slowly nodded his head.

"But I thought you dumped him." Jooheon was confused as well.

"I did it for his own safety."

"What do you mean?" we asked in unison.

"You know what happened to my brother, right? I don't want it to happen to him."

"Hyung, why don't you talk to him? I'm sure that the girl is just a friend." Jooheon tried to make him look on the bright side but he failed.

"A friend? Didn't you see his eyes sparkle when she saw her?"

"We can't assume things that fast, we need proof but now you need some ice cream." Jooheon knows how to lift up his spirit.

"But before that, you should change your clothes cause you sat down in a dirty alley,"  I said.

He wiped his tears and smiled at us.

How can someone hurt the feelings of this little angel?
