~Kihyun~

Today is the day of our performance. We have no classes today since there will be a competition, students can either come or stay at home.

I felt nervous and excited, I have never joined a competition like this. All the competition that I participated in was quiz bees and spelling bees.

I was practicing my lines in our classroom when Jooheon came inside.

"The program will start, let's go"

"Okay"

I drank my water before following him to the covered court.

I started to get nervous as we reached the court.

"Kihyun, Jooheon, over here."

I heard our class adviser call us behind the stage.

"The two of you will perform last if you want to watch the performance. You can peek at the side of the stage. Fighting."

We bowed before peeking at the side of the table.

"Where are they?" I can't see our friends because they are many people watching.

"Over there" he pointed to the direction where our friends are sitting.

I can see Minhyuk and Hyungwon but I can't find Hyunwoo.

"Where's Hyunwoo?"

"Wait, let me call him." Jooheon grabbed his phone, he dialed Hyunwoo's number and waited for someone to answer.

"No one is answering, I'm going to call Minhyuk," he said.

"Minhyuk-ah" he put the call on speakerphone for the two of us to hear.

"Yeah?"

"Where's Hyunwoo?" I asked.

"I don't know, I'm going to call him. Don't worry about anything else, I'll handle it."

"Thank you"

"Fighting"

He hung up the phone, placing it back to his bag.

"There's nothing to worry about. He'll be here."

I smiled even though I felt anxious about not seeing him there.

I sat down and waited until our names are called.

Our juniors went first and they did a pretty good job.

"The next performers are Im Changkyun and Shin Hoseok."

I heard the announcer call the next performers. I looked at the side where Wonho and Changkyun are, I can see that they are excited and nervous as well.

I watched them from the side and they have great chemistry, I hope they win, I hope we win too.

When they finished, the crowd cheered. They love them.
