[wow I didn't update for a month...]

---

Before my tour comes to a close, I have to do one more meetup.  One last meet and greet until I am done for the year.  The majority of the fans in the VIP section are similar.  Fifteen year old girls who genuinely enjoy my music.  There was also the occasional boyfriend of the girls.  I took photos and signed their copies of EP's, but by half past eleven, I was finished.

The car ride home was very quiet, as I was alone with only myself.  As I drove towards the hotel where I was residing for the weekend, I began to play some music in my car.  As I clicked past the talk radio stations, I ran into Fun by Troye Sivan; an old favorite of mine.  I keep the song playing as I sing along quietly.  When I drove up to the Hyatt entrance, I saw a mysterious figure in front of the lobby entrance.  After I parked my car, I walked up to the figure with the intentions of investigation.  I discover the boy I had been spending my days with, Carmen, sitting before me. His arms are behind his back, but clearly occupied.

"Hello, Ally." He said in a loving tone as he stood from the concrete, "These are for you, they symbolize my everlasting love for you..."  Carmen reached behind his back and pulled out a bouquet of velvet coloured roses from behind him, and then proceeded to pull a small box from his pocket.  He presented the flowers to me.  I accepted them, but began to feel a strong stinging behind my eyes.

"Carmen, I can't take these... They must have been impossible to get!"  I said as I glanced at the perfectly tended to roses of wondrous colour.  I then watched as Carmen held up the miniscule box.  He flipped open the top cover to reveal a small golden chain necklace.  A small gold plate was dangling from it.  My jaw dropped as I picked up the necklace into my shaking hands.  I quickly noticed letters engraved onto the gold plate, and held them up to my already watering eyes.

There's an albatross around your neck

I looked up at Carmen and then looked down at the golden necklace.  As I flipped the chain around between my fingers, I immediately came across a small bird engraved on the side opposite of the lyrics of the first duet that Carmen and I sang with each other.  My mouth was as vast and open as the ocean.  "Carmen, I can't..."  I said with a shaky voice.  "This must have costed so much... I can't take this from you!"

"Shush, Ally," He whispered as he held a finger to my lips.  "I got it for you.  You're worth it.  I love you so much, Ally.  Would you do me the honour of being my girlfriend?"

I frantically nodded my head.  I then pulled him into the biggest hug I ever had.  "You're amazing..." I whispered into his ear.  "Let's go to my room."

Carmen lead me down the hallway to the lift.  After walking down a few more halls, we were inside my hotel room and hopped onto the couch.  I nestled my head into his neck as I leaned back on his shoulder.  Carmen wrapped his arm around me and rested his head on mine.  I love him.  I really do.

The following morning, I woke up to the sound of my phone blaring 'Lies' by Marina and the Diamonds.  I slammed my hand on the snooze button, but the noise did not stop.  Carmen had left a note on my screen- it was written on a small violet sticky note.
