Bumped Into You

Chapter 36

Sandy's POV

I woke up at exactly 4:00 o'clock in the afternoon. I got up from bed and grab my phone on the side table.  Messages from friends.

I check the messenger first. Ang ingay ng groupchat naming magkakaibigan.

"Casual or formal?" from Arrianne.

"Lol! It's not like we're having engagement party for Sandy and Bob. It's only a dinner because tito and tita are going back abroad. Don't over react there Yannie." Grace's respond.

These two are like bestfriend yet arguing as always. I found myself typing a message.

"Haha. Both of you, quit it. Just wear whatever you want. Anyways, Villa Luis's also coming. Just informing you guys." Message sent. They just replied me with thumbs up. Wew, only if I knew, Yannie is actually excited right now since Kenji is also coming. Well, actually they look good together.  I heard a knock from my door.

"It's open, come in."  Then the door opens. Its lola. She's coming to me with a sweet smile.

"How's you day yesterday apo?" She asked and sit down at the corner of my bed. I sit beside her and smile back at her.

"It is great lola, we had a good time."

"Good to hear that apo. Anyway you need to be ready for tonight.  I'm really glad that you're mom and dad were back together. But they need to get married again." Lola jokingly said. I just smile and nod at her.

Few minute after lola left my room. I look at my phone again. I have a message from Bob.

Love❤️:

"I'm home love, just gonna take some rest for tonight. I love you more love. See you later."

I can't help it. Too much sweetness. My cheeks turns red just because of his message. Ohh gosh I really am in love with this guy. 

After sending a reply. I went to the wash room and take a shower. Tonight is the night. I'm so nervous yet so excited. As I went down, it seemed like everything was prepared. I saw Dad talking to someone over the phone. Mom is just sitting in the couch also busy with her cellphone. Suddenly my phone rings.

Grace Calling...

I pick it up.

"Best?" She said excitedly as soon as I answer her call. What's with her?

"Yes?" I answered her in a question way.

"Pasundo naman ako. hehe. Kung okay lang." Nag aalangan sabi nya.

"Alright. Are you prepared already?" Tanong ko sa kanya.

"Yeah."

"Okay. I'll be there in a minute. Can you call Yannie? Baka kasi gusto nyang magpasundo rin."

"Okay, I'll call her. See yah." There, she dropped the call.

I grabbed my key. Nagpaalam ako kina Dad at Mom na susunduin ko muna yung dalawang asungot kong bestfriends. You know, celebrations without them is not a celebration at all. I kissed both of them on the cheek and head out. As usual mom told me to take care. Ofcourse I will. I always do.

I'm heading to Grace's first. I haven't received any message from Grace and Arrianne after that call.  Then my phone beep. I take a look on the screen. It's Arrianne.

"Ako rin, pasundo bestie." Haha, funny. Parang naririnig ko pa kung pano nya to sabihin in pabebe way. Nag thumbs lang ako. Nasa harap na ako ng gate nila Grace. Pagbubuksan pa sana ako ng gate ng guard pero tumanggi na ako total aalis naman na kami agad. Ilang minuto pa ay narito na ang inaantay ko. Agad syang bumeso sakin pagkasakay ng sasakyan.

"I'm so excited. I don't know why." Napaarko naman ang kilay ko. Excited sa ano? Hindi ko na lang sya pinansin. At nag drive na ulit patungo naman kina Arrianne.

"Ba't nga pala nagpapasundo pa si Arrianne, eh diba may kotse na yung loka lokang yun?" Baling kong tanong sa katabi ko. Nagkibit-balikat lang ito.

"Are you guys having a quarrel again?" I asked here out of my curiosity. She shake her head.

"Nope." Maikling sagot nya.

"And why are you acting like that?" I asked her again.

"Don't ruin the mood best. We're good. Nothing is wrong between Yannie and I. We're just like this. And you're supposed to have used to it. Haha." Seryoso nyang sagot sabay tawa. Praning lang eh. Sabagay she have a point. Bat ba ako maninibago eh parang aso't pusa naman talaga silang dalawa. Ako yung referee. Sa di kalayuan, tanaw na namin si Arrianne na naghihintay samin. Pagkahinto ko ng sasakyan sa tapat nya ay agad naman syang sumakay. At bumeso saming dalawa.

"Na miss ko kayo." Natutuwang sabi nito.

"Plastic mo! Na miss mo si Kenji hindi kami." Mataray na biro ni Grace rito.

"Di wag kung ayaw mong maniwala. Namiss ko nga yang kamalditahan mo eh." Balik namang angil ni Arrianne sa kanya.

"Yahhh... You two, keep it low. Alam nating namiss natin isa't- isa wag na nga kayong mag inarte dyan." Agaw ko sa atensyon nila. Nagtawanan naman silang dalawa. Mga may topak talaga.

Bago bumalik naisipan muna nilang dumaan sa Craving's upang bumili ng cake para kina Mom and Dad. Like me and lola, They are also happy for mom and dad. After choosing and buying the cake they like we head back home.

Habang nagmamaneho tumunog ang cellphone ko. Agad namang dinampot yun ni Grace upang tingnan at sagutin. I looked at her nong napansin kong di nya sinagot yung tawag. She's just staring at the screen of my cellphone.  WTF! as in...

"Hey! you should answer it." Says Arrianne from the backseat. Then she lean forward to check who's calling. Then it's the two of them now staring at the screen of my cellphone.

"Shoot! I'm dead. I'm totally screwed." Sabi ko sa isip ko. It's Bob who's calling right now. And Grace doesn't press the answer button because the name on the screen. His number was saved as "Love♥️".  I panicked and snatch my phone in her hand and slide  it to decline button. They are both staring at me right now. They're waiting for an explanation. Woooh... I felt more nervous right now. I really need to explain. I drive slowly and pull over the car. I took a deep breath before facing them.

"Yah. mianhae." I said sorry in korean way. Lol. Out of nervousness those arr the words that came out from me.

"I'm sorry, Actually we're about to announce it tonight at the dinner. I'm so sorry for not telling you guys first. Its just that we wanted to surprise you all. I'm really sorry." I'm about to cry right now. I know they're disappointed in me for not telling them first. They're my best friend I'm suppose to tell them. I lower down my head and put my face on my palms.

"We're so happy for you best. We've been waiting for these to happened." Grace said and hug me.

"Yeah. We're your bestfriend so take it easy, we're not mad at you." Arrianne said. And not we're group hugging. My tears fall down.

"I'm really sorry. We're really about to announce it tonight. Kasi kahapon ko lang din sya sinagot." Paliwag ko ulit. Natatawa naman silang tumingin sakin.

"You're such a kiddo. We're happy for the both of you." Si Grace.

"So... you got your first kissed right?" Birong tanong ni Arrianne na ikinapula ng pisngi ko, tsaka ako dahan-dahang tumango tango. Napuno naman agad ng tilian at kantyawan sa loob ng kotse ko. Arrianne keep on teasing and asking me.  Kesyo kung masarap ba? Kilan? Ilang beses, pano? Bahala ka dyan. Wala akong sinagot, sa halip ay nag drive na lang ako ulit pabalik samin.

"Love huh?" Kantyaw din ni Grace. At sabay sabay kaming nagtawanan.
