chapter fourteen — "jeno, stop it!"
"i missed you guys!"
the four engulfed each other in a big hug.
"it's been so so long"
eunji wiped her non existent tears.
"says the one who spent the entire break in japan"
gahyun states, looking at eunji.
"says the one who spent the entire break in thailand"
eunji fires back.
"can we go to class?"
jaeyu tried to stop the two.
"says the one who spent the entire break in australia"
dahye joined in.
"says the one who..."
jaeyu attempted to fire back but didn't know what to say.
"stayed in bed all day watching kdramas"
eunji said.
"no, says the one who spent the entire break meeting jeno"
gahyun found the perfect answer.
"i just met him once though"
dahye denied.
"yeah yeah, you just kept thinking about him"
"good morning class, i hope you had an-"
the science teacher starts but was cut when the door slams open and jeno walked in.
"good morning to you, jeno. late on the first class of the term"
the teacher crossed her arms and jeno just shrugged and sat on his seat, he was really different to what dahye sees when they're alone.
"anyway, as i was saying before i was rudely interrupted, i hope you had an amazing break but too bad we're all here back to study so take out your science books"
the teacher said, crushing everyone's monday morning.

"that's all for today, see you tomorrow"
the class ended after the bell rung and the teacher walked out.
dahye, along with jaeyu, eunji and gahyun were walking towards the door when they heard someone fall. of course, it was jeno. he was going to throw a punch to the student's face when dahye suddenly exclaimed.
"jeno, stop it!"
she didn't know what got her, what made her say that, it just blurted out. but, for the first time, jeno placed his hand down and released his grip from the student. everyone in class stared in shock, jaws dropped to the ground. jeno then walked out of the classroom, his friends following after with obvious shocked faces, even dahye stood there in shock, same with everyone else. when jeno gets into fights, it would take at least his friends and teachers to pull him away, a simple "stop it" wouldn't stop him, but that day was different.
"woah"
dahye turned to her friends.
"you did... that!"
jaeyu exclaimed.
"no big deal guys, let's go"
dahye sighed and walked out the door to go to the cafeteria.
