Why Finn doesn't date

"So...I was getting very heavy vibes from the girl that Finn was talking to at the supermarket yesterday..." Gaten said nudging Finn.

"Gaten stop. After Ayla-"

Ahh yes, Ayla. The Ayla, from Finn's old band Calpurnia, that he used to date. They first started dating 3 months after they started the band. They stopped dating around half way through shooting the 3rd season of Stranger Things. No-one knows why they called off their relationship, but all we know is that he had never dated anyone since. Apparently Finn told Millie why him and Ayla broke up but it's been ages and she says she's forgotten.

"-After Ayla...I don't want to date anyone." Finn said, ending the conversation.

The truth is...Ayla and I called off the relationship because I wasn't into it. The fact is...I-I'm bi. I realised that I was bi 2 weeks before we broke up. I had no real feelings towards her. I don't date people anymore because the problem is...I'm afraid that I won't be able to find someone who truly loves me. So, I don't date and that's it...no further discussion.

While Finn was being harassed by Gaten about finding a girlfriend, Millie, Sadie and I were talking about us all going home for the holidays.

"So, this year, we are all going to Scardale, New York." I said as I looked online for tickets.

"I'm so excited! I get to see Chloe again!" Millie said as she grabbed my phone.

"Hey!" I said, trying to get my phone back. Millie got excited as she looked at my messages and she gave me a cute look once she saw what Finn's name was.

Finlard

Not even Finn's brother Nick is allowed to call Finn by that name.

"Finlard?" Millie asked.

"Finn will never find out so I have whatever name I want!" I said, finally getting ahold of my phone.

I yanked my phone out of Millie's hand and put it away.

"So...Finn...you excited to go to New York for the Christmas holidays?" Millie asked.

"Yeah...it's always good to see Mrs. Schnapp and Chloe." Finn said as he got back to being harassed by Gaten.

I continued to wonder why Finn didn't date...why he and Alya broke up and why he never said a thing to anyone.

After a few hours, the gang and I went to go and get dinner which is what we did. I went to bed after finishing my meal.
