It was a mistake to deal with Cayden later, rather than sooner. When I woke up this morning, Finn's long arms around my torso as I moved some stray hairs from my face, my screen lit up, drawing my attention to the hundreds of notifications from Instagram, Twitter and even TikTok.

"I hate the internet." I groaned, feeling Finn move beside me.

"Good morning..." He smiled, kissing my cheek.

"It's not a good morning." I sighed. Confused, Finn sat up, looking at the heaps of posts about the photo that Cayden had posted.

"Oh..." Finn looked worried.

"Finn?" I could hear Millie's voice.

"In Noah's room." Finn yelled back, watching as my bedroom door opened, revealing a confused Millie.

"Good morning Millie." Finn smiled, still trying to wake himself up.

"It's not a good morning Finn." She hissed back, basically rushing Finn and I out of bed and into the living room.

I looked at Sadie, Gaten and Caleb who were all watching a youtube clip that was posted only an hour ago.

"Seriously?!" I groaned, knowing exactly what the clip was going to be of.

Watching the reporter talk about the photo, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed. Everyone was accusing me of cheating on Finn. I was either getting Tweets basically bullying me, or Instagram DMs asking if the news was true. Of course. I needed to end this. The more people who spread the lie, the more Cayden would get what he wanted.

"How to I shut this whole shit show down without looking completely stupid?" I asked, fed up with everything.

"Simple. You put out a nice and responsible statement, that explains the situation." Sadie suggested.

"Ok, that sounds...nice. But, I might need help with the statement..." I admitted.

"Really Noah?" Caleb laughed.

"I'm not really good at statements." I sighed.

"Whatever." Sadie rolled her eyes, taking me over to the kitchen so we could drink coffee while writing the statement.

After 1 hour, I managed to write a statement that Sadie and Millie had accepted, Finn just wanting this whole situation to be over.

Getting too excited, I started uploading the statement to Instagram and other social media sites, hoping that Cayden's stupid rumor would go away.

Eventually, hours passed, leaving me to check my phone.

"Any changes?" Finn asked as Gaten brought a drink into the living-room.

"Yes..." I clicked on Twitter, seeing my unsername tagged.

Clicking the notification, I was happy to see what I had been tagged in.

@noah_schnapp I am so sorry for posting that photo of us. We're only friends and I hope it can stay that way. It was wrong of me to post that photo without the proper context. I hope you can forgive me.

I smiled, happy that Cayden had finally admitted his fault.

Going onto the rest of the social media accounts, I was starting to see a positive change. People stopped critisizing me and instead apologised to me.

Even Finn was recieving messages. Turns out that people were messaging and tagging him, hoping that Cayden's rumor would make him break up with me. Of course, Finn knew the actual situation, so no matter how many people tried to convince him, he wouldn't break up with me.
