Noah was worried. He had to tell his friends whether he wanted to or not. If he left and didn't say anything they would all be pissed...Millie especially. After he told his mom, she booked him tickets so he could fly down to California and audition. He hoped that his friends would accept what he was saying.

Noah made his way downstairs, seeing the party conveniently sitting at the kitchen bench, eating lunch. He inched closer, not wanting to interrupt the conversation going on between Sadie and Finn.
"Can I talk to you guys?" Noah said, once he knew that Finn wasn't going to speak, since he realised that Sadie had just won the argument.
"Sure Noah." Finn said, turning his attention to Noah. Once his attention was on Noah, one by one the rest of the party focused on him.
"I have something that I need to tell you...but before I do...I need all of you to promise that you won't overreact or get mad..." Noah said, slightly focusing on Millie.
"Of course Noah. We would never be mad with you..." Millie said, completely forgetting the brief argument that they had in front of everyone a few days prior.
"I got a call two days ago..." Noah said, putting down his phone...so he wouldn't fidget.
"A call from who?" Sadie asked, looking as Noah's phone continuously buzzed because of email notifications.
"A producer..." Noah said, beginning to worry.
"A producer? From where?" Gaten asked. This time...everyone was persistently staring at him, not breaking eye contact.
"Marvel" Noah said, quietly...but loud enough for Millie to hear.
"MARVEL?!" Millie stood up, her voice raised to a whole new level.
"Y-Yeah..." Noah said, his palms becoming more and more sweaty.
"What did they want?" Finn asked, dragging Millie down to her seat.
"They're filming a new movie. They want me to audition as the main character...a young Tony Stark." Noah said, finally realising that his phone was buzzing.
"Wait...you got a phone call...from a producer at Marvel...asking you to audition for the main character...in a movie?" Millie asked, re-assessing the situation.
"Yeah. Exactly." Noah said.
"Wow! Congrats Noah!" Both Gaten and Caleb spoke as they patted Noah on the back.
"My mom has already bought tickets for me to fly to California." Noah added.
"You'd be a great young Tony Stark, Noah. I say go for it!" Sadie said, smiling.
"Don't go." Millie said.
"Why?" Caleb asked, confused as to why Millie wasn't happy for Noah.
"Millie...Stranger Things 4 is over. I'm free to pursue other jobs." Noah said, confused.
"Don't go!" Millie persisted.
"Why?" Noah asked, this time becoming more upset.
"What if Matt and Ross want to create a season 5 and they get the green light? You would be working for a full year on the movie and you wouldn't be able to film Stranger Things!" Millie said, becoming upset.
"I can work around that!" Noah said.
"How? How can you work on the movie and the show?" Millie asked, now becoming pissed off.
"Michael J. Fox filmed Family Ties while he worked on Back to the Future. He would work on the sitcom then go immediately to the set of BTTF and work there! He is a prime example of working two projects!" Noah said, referencing one of his favourite movies.
"Yeah! Because he was older than 18! Finn was lucky that he was allowed to film Stranger Things since IT chapter 1 delayed production!" Millie said, bringing up a good point.
"Stranger Things isn't my entire life Millie! You were in Godzilla: King of monsters!" Noah said.
"Noah...Stranger Things wasn't in production when the movie was filmed. S4 hadn't even been pitched yet..." Sadie said, stepping in.
"What if Stranger Things S5 never gets pitched...or even greenlighted? Would you then be happy for me to pursue other jobs?" Noah asked.
"Y-Yes...maybe..." Millie said, admitting that she would be ok with it.
"You can't force me to stay with Stranger Things. Stranger Things will never be my entire life. I love the show to bits...but it can't be all that I think about and do. I need to extend my career. I don't care if you don't agree...but I am going to the audition and your not stopping me." Noah said, grabbing phone.
"Finn? What do you think about Noah going for the audition?" Millie asked, pointing her attention to him. Finn sat there...not saying anything.
Before Finn could answer, Noah walked to his room, slamming the door shut. It was a mistake telling the party about the audition. He couldn't believe that Millie wouldn't support him.
