Napatingin ako sa katabi ko. "Babe, ano daw gagawin natin?"
Type pa rin ng type. Ano ba yan? Mas importante ba yung phone nya sa akin?
"Babe."
Type. Type. Type.
"Elmo!"
Nataas na yung ulo nya from his phone at hinalikan ako sa pisnge.
"Ano yun?"
I rolled my eyes. Di nakikinig. Nakakainis.
"Wala, tara uwi na tayo."
"Okay."
Habaan mo pasensya mo, Julie Anne. Pagod lang yan.
"Moe, may class ka bukas?"
He just walked out. Lalabas na. Snobber?
Tumakbo ako to catch up and held his hand. Kaso binawi nya din eh. Is he that tired? Hayaan na nga. After all, he just came back from a volleyball tournament.
We walked silently, not hand in hand, not even shoulder to shoulder. There is this great big wall that was never there. Ngayon ko lang sya talagang nafeel. Do I feel stupid for just noticing now? Yes. But it doesn't change the fact that I love him.
We stopped in front of my house, no words said. He just kissed me good night and walked away.
I went straight to my room and stared at my phone screen. Hays. Mukhang ako na naman ang mauunang magmessage sa kanya. Kaso di nasagot yun sa message eh. Wala yatang load. Hmm.. Snapchat na lang.
I took a selfie and then i put a caption..
I sorry if I made you grumpy.. Good night Moemoe.
1 minute later, he opened it.. Ang bagal naman magreply. 36 seconds ago nya ng binuksan oh. Tsk. Ay, ayan na! I held my phone closest to my face and then I opened his snap..
I wasn't. Maybe you were. I'm just tired.
Oh. Okay, so should I continue talking to him?
Teka nga, i-snap ko din isa sa best friends ko.

I waited and waited, hala ang loko, hindi na nagreply. Tulog na kaya yun? I decided to call Gwen.
"Yes Juliebels, what is it?"
"Bakit ganun si Elmo?"
"Lagi syang ganun bes, what is it now?"
"He seems so distant, nakakapagod na syang habulin."
I heard her sigh.
"Kausapin mo na lang bukas. Baka pagod lang talaga sya."
