Chapter 29

Chapter 29:

We arrived at my house and I unbuckled myself, looking at Lucas.

"Hey I'm sorry about earlier, forgive me?" I said.

Lucas looked at me. "Nothing to be sorry about Maya, it's all good."

I sighed of relief and was about to step out of the car.

"Car sex sucks anyways." Lucas said, hiding a smirk.

I hit him with the bouquet of flowers he gave me. "Shut up."

He grinned at me. "Come on you missed perverted Lucas."

"No I didn't."

"Yes you did."

"No I didn't."

"Admit it!"

"No!!"

There was silence and I groaned. "Fine I missed it a little bit. You still suck though."

Lucas smiled and nudged me, "I love you too."

"Whatever." I mumbled, getting out of the car.

"I'll text you later." I said, waving at him as he drove off.

I went up to the front door and used my key to get inside.

Aunt Becky and Ava were in the kitchen and I took my coat off, shivering from the cold air.

Ava looked at me and pointed. "Maya!"

Aunt Becky turned around and came towards me. "Maya dear your alright!"

She hugged me tightly and I hugged back, forgetting about our previous conversation.

Aunt Becky let go, holding my arms. "How'd you get home?"

I adjusted my shirt and shrugged. "My boyfriend drove me home."

Aunt Becky's expression changed from happy to stern. "What boyfriend?"

I snapped out of my thoughts and gasped quietly.

Oh shit.
