OS #30: CLOSET

I married my sister's ex-boyfriend.

Malandi.

Haliparot.

Sinuka na nga, kinain mo pa.

I don't blame you for thinking that way. Pero ang totoo, ako ang nauna kay Frank. Pero dahil lahat ng gusto ni Ate ay nakukuha niya, she got Frank in her fingers.

I hated her.

And I abhor her for leaving Frank behind. She left him the night before their wedding day. She broke Frank's heart and left without any explanations.

Maybe she left him for another guy.

5 years later and Frank confessed his love for me. Sinagot ko siya agad, wala ng ligaw ligaw dahil mahal na mahal ko siya. And a year later, now we got married and we'll spent our first night in his house.

"Honey, don't leave me okay?"-

He said as he looked at me and caressed my face.

"I'll never do that, Frank. I love you so much."-

He leaned in to kiss me when our moment was interrupted by the knocking of the front door.

"One second, sweetheart."-

He sighed and walked out of our room.

I smiled at bumangon mula sa kama. I suddenly got cold so I decided to borrow Frank's sweatshirt first. I opened his closet ngunit isang nakakasulasok na amoy ang sumalubong sa akin.

Amoy burak.

Nabubulok na hindi mawari.

Agad kong binuksan ang ilaw at nagulat ako sa aking harapan.

BONES.

Then I saw a skull.

IT WAS HUMAN BONES.

Naaagnas na mga buto ng tao. I helped myself not to puke at the sight.

"Your sister once said she don't want me anymore. She said she'll leave me, that she don't want to marry me. But you know, she didn't leave me."-

He chuckled as he continued talking.

"... See, she can't leave me."-

I turned around to see Frank looking back at the bones.

Realization hits me hard.

It was my sister's bones.

"You won't leave me too, right? You promised you won't."-

And the last thing I saw was Frank grinning before everything went black.
