*Cassies pov*
It only took about 3-4 minutes to get back to Cameron's house from Taco Bell. Once we pulled into his driveway my jaw dropped when I laid eyes on his house. It looked like it could be 4 stories high. "CAMERON YOUR HOUSE IS INSANE!!! ITS SO BIG" I screamed getting out of the car. I heard him laugh behind me "and you haven't even been inside yet" he said catching up to me and bringing me to the door. We got to the door step and when I looked up I saw two huge wooden doors in front of me. They were gigantic and insanely beautiful. Cameron opened the door and stepped in. I stayed behind in aw when I saw the rest of the house from where I was standing. "Cassie...? Hellloooo, earth to Cassie??" I saw cameron waving his hand in my face. "Oh yeah, sorry" I said snapping myself out of the trance I was in staring at his beautiful home. "Well? Are you gonna come in or not?" Cameron said laughing. I nodded my head and stepped in looking all around. It was absolutely gorgeous. The high ceilings with marbled flooring. Chandeliers hanging from the ceilings, it was amazing. I heard Camerons voice which snapped me out of my daze. "So my moms not here right now, it says she's not going to be back until tomorrow evening" he said holding up a sticky note he just found attached to the refrigerator. "Sounds cool" I said.
"Sooo, what do you want to do?" he asked me.
"Got any movies?" I asked.
"A lot actually" he said gesturing over to the huge cabinets by the television.
"You go pick out a few while I eat, just call out suggestions and we'll decide on one, I'll make the popcorn" he said.
"Will doooo" I answered back skipping towards the cabinets. I opened the cabinet doors and it was like movie heaven. There must have been hundreds of them. All of the movies were in order by the Alphabet so they were easier to find. I wanted to pick a good movie but not TOO good that he wouldn't be paying any attention to me because I can't forget, I have to be telling him how I feel today. I started calling out some movies for us to decide on.
"The Notebook?"
"Ehhh, too much chick flick" he replied. I rolled my eyes and laughed while setting it aside in the 'No pile'.
"Step Brothers?"
"Hilarious movie, just not in the mood for a comedy" Good. That meant he might take me seriously when I talk to him about liking him.
"How about High School Musical?! I love this movie!!" I squealed.
"Oh geeze, you're such a girl" he said throwing away his trash from lunch.
"Oh come on Cam its a classic!" I said trying to convince him.
"Haha, what ever you want is fine, just put it in and come sit down" he said plopping himself on the couch with a bowl of popcorn in his lap. I put the movie into the DVD player and pressed start. I turned around and saw Cameron patting the side of him where he was sitting signaling me to come. I went and sat next to him. As we were watching the movie thoughts were racing all over my mind on how I should come to tell Cameron that I like him. I mean I just don't want to feel stupid if he doesn't feel the same way and I was just being led on. Ugh, I just wish I could read his mind and know how he feels for me so I don't have to make a fool out of myself. It was towards the middle of the movie and I could tell Cameron was sort of getting bored with it so I decided now was the time. "Hey Cam?" I asked nervously.
"Yeah?" he said turning his head in my direction. We were pretty close considering he had his arm wrapped around me and we were sharing a blanket. "I kind of wanted to talk to you about something..." I said in a low tone.
"Oh wait, hold on" he said putting his finger up grabbing the remote and turning the volume down so he can hear me.
"Okay, what's up?" he said looking back at me again. It took me a few seconds to answer. I was trying to choose the right words to use so I didn't make myself look dumb just incase he didn't feel the same.
"So like, here's the thing.." His big brown eyes came in contact with mine that just made the butterflies in my stomach start going insane. Those eyes are just breath taking.
"Yeah?" he asked snapping me out of it.
"Look, I know I told you I wasn't looking for a relationship or anything because I'm afraid of getting hurt or hurting someone else in the long run. But the thing is Cameron, I can't help it. I can't help but like you. It sucks, trust me. Knowing I'll have to be leaving in a few years and I told myself I couldn't fall for anyone and I was doing really well at it until you came along. I don't want to hold myself to that promise anymore. Once I saw you everything changed. You made me fall head over heels for you. What I'm trying to say is, I like you. I really, really like you. " I spilled out. I was NOT expecting to do that. But I thought if I told him I like him I should just say it all. He didn't say anything for a few seconds and it scared me. All he did was stare at me. But not a disgusted stare. It was almost a stare of relief. He still didn't say anything. "Did you hear me Cameron? I like..." I was cut off by his lips crashing into mine. The kiss was so passionate. Not rough or fast, but slow and sweet. I could literally feel the Sparks on my lips every time he brought his back to mine from getting air. He pulled away and looked into my eyes, "Finally" he said. I looked at him in confusion. "I like you too Cassie, so much" he said looking in my eyes then down to my mouth, bringing our lips back in for another kiss. I felt him smiling in between kisses which only caused me to smile even harder. Suddenly it just felt like a huge weight was brought off my shoulders. I can't even tell you the last time I've been this happy.
