After Cameron left I started putting some things away. When I was done I just layed on my bed thinking. Should I text him? No. I can't. He's soo cute, and really sweet, I just can't catch myself falling for anyone right now.

It's been a two weeks since I met Cameron, and he's texted me a few times to which I never replied. Let me tell you, it's not easy. I want to text him back I just can't. I'm sticking to this no matter how hard it is. I heard my phone beep to the left of me. I grabbed it and looked to see who it was from. Cameron. Of course.
Cameron: "Hey, are you okay??"
He wanted to know if I was okay? I feel so horrible for not answering but I just sighed and clicked the lock button. What was I doing? I decided to go for a ride to get some lunch. I needed to get get him off my mind. I got up, changed into some high waisted shorts and crop top, with my burgundy converse. I threw my hair into a messy bun, grabbed my keys and went down stairs to leave. "Where are you going?" I heard my mom's voice behind me.
"Oh no where, just going grab some lunch. I'll be back in a few hours." I said back.
"Alright, just be safe" she said to me while blowing me a kiss and I was out the door.

I decided on pizza. After I ate, I was craving something sweet. Frozen yogurt from TCBY sounds great. I made my way there and was waiting in line when I heard the little bell at the top of the door start to ring signaling a new customer. I turned around and who would have guessed it. It was Cameron. Followed behind him was a pretty cute tan boy with dark hair. I hurried and turned around hoping Cameron didn't see me but with my luck, of course he did. Who am I kidding? Im in a yogurt shop I can't hide. I felt a tap on my shoulder and heard his voice. "You know, I wasn't joking when I said you should text me." he said with his adorably cute little laugh following behind. I turned around with my face red as could be, "I'm sorry, I was just busy." I said lying.
"Riiiighhhtt, busy. Anyways, Chris, this is Cassie. Cassie, this is Chris. My bestfriend."
Ohh, that must be the boy Chris who he was talking about. That's my neighbor.
"So this must be my new neighbor that you won't shut up about" he said winking at me while simultaneously giving Cameron a nudge. Cameron got red in the face. Was he embarrassed? He gave Chris a nudge back telling him to shut up. "No no no Cam, you're right she is gorgeous" he said with a smile. Me? Gorgeous? Did Cameron really say that about me? I started getting butterflies. "Bro!" Cameron said sounding angry almost. "Haha, I'm sorry Cam. If you weren't going to say it, I was" Chris apologized. Cameron looked at Chris, shook his head, then looked back at me. "Do you want to get some yogurt and sit down?" I nodded. I didn't want to turn him down. After all, I have been avoiding him for the past two weeks. "Anddd that's my cue to leave. I'll see ya later Cam. Bye Cassie, nice meeting you!" Chris said. "Byee" me and Cameron both said at the same time. We got our yogurt, mine cake batter, his chocolate.
Cameron found a table for us outside. He put his hand out letting me go first to sit down, he was such a gentlemen like that. "Sooo, do you want to tell me the real reason you've been avoiding me?" he said. I looked down. "Oh come on Cassie, what's wrong? I don't understand. If it's something I did can you please tell me so I'm not over here feeling like an idiot?" I felt bad. I've been making this poor boy wait for so long, I can't keep doing this. But I don't want to tell him why now. It's not the place nor time. "You didn't do anything wrong Cameron, I promise. I have a reason that I'm being so distant. It's just, I don't feel like this is the time to say it"
" Then maybe I can take you out? I want to hear what you have to say, and frankly I enjoy spending time with you" he said flashing his gorgeous smile once again. I nodded and smiled in agreement. I liked being with him too. He was fun to be around, not to mention he's so hot. "Sure, I'd like that" I agreed. "Sooo, how's about I text you when?" he asked. "That'd be perfect" I said back. "But promise you gotta answer this time." he said winking at me. "Haha, I promise." I said assuring him.
"Good" he said. By this time we were both done with our frozen yogurt. "I'll walk you to your car" he said being a gentleman once again. I nodded and said "Let's go". He walked me to my car and said bye and gave me a hug. Gosh, I love his hugs. He's much taller than me so my head fits perfectly right into his chest to where I can hear his heart beat when he holds me close. He's so warm, and comforting. I just didn't want to let go. But eventually he did, and walked off leaving to get in his car and for me to do the same.
