Chapter 15

*Cassies pov*
My thoughts were going insane. I had to tell Cameron I like him and I have no idea how to do it. I'm a nervous wreck and I have no clue why. When I'm with him I feel so comfortable. Nothing feels rushed. Nothing feels wrong. Everything feels perfect when he's there by me. I feel protected. I don't know, I guess I'm nervous because I've never actually told him that I liked him. I just assumed he knew with how touchy we are. I decided to text him back since I didn't get a chance to before we left to get frozen yogurt.
Me- Hey sorry, I just got back from hanging out with my mom
He texted back instantly.
*Cam☺️💕*- Hey! no worries, do you still want to hang out? I can come pick you up and we can go grab something to eat then go by my place or whatever?
Me- Yeah, that sounds good.
*Cam☺️💕*- Cool, be there in 5.

I've never been to his house before but judging by how he'd be here in 5 minutes he must live close.

I heard a car pull up and looked out my window to see Cameron. I checked my clock and sure enough it was 12:30, 5 minutes just like he said he would be here. I grabbed my wristlet that I carry my money and phone in and slipped some sandals on then walked downstairs. I was wearing some Nike shorts with a big tshirt. I've gotten used to be around cameron so I don't always try to get all dolled up when I see him. However, this is the first time I've never worn makeup around him, kind of nervous but maybe that's the other nerves from what I'm going to be telling him, kicking in. "Bye mom, I'm going hangout with Cameron" I said kissing her on the cheek. "Oh well if he's already here can't I just meet him now?" I gave her a look. "Ugh, mom" I said exaggerating the word mom. "What?"
"I told you, you can meet him after I talk to him" I said. "Oh alright" she sighed. "Bye, love you" I said walking out. "Love you" I heard her say before closing the front door. I walked down my driveway and onto the side of Camerons car. I heard the door unlock, I opened it then sat in. "Hey" I said smiling. "Hey" he said leaning over placing a quick kiss on my cheek. "So, where do you want to eat todayyyyy?" he asked pulling out my driveway. "Uh, you know Cam I'm not that hungry really, but you can still go grab something if you want" I told him. "Yeah, I'll just go grab some Taco Bell up here" he said motioning to the Taco Bell on our right. "Wait, so you just came to hang out with me and not for the free food? Yasss" he said joking. I playfully pushed his arm. "Hey! I come to have fun hanging out with you... the free food is just a bonus" I said winking and joking back. "Ha ha ha, you're hilarious" he said sarcastically pulling into the drive thru. "I actually find that I'm quite funny" I said crossing my arms and turning away from him trying to act mad. I looked to my side and saw him chuckling at me which killed my seriousness act. "I am!" I said hitting his arm. "I know I know, you're funny AND cute when you try to act all tough like that" he said leaning over the console pecking my lips. "EHEM" We heard a noise from the box in the drive thru making us jump and smash heads. He started dying laughing, "I'm sorry sir. " he told the box. "What would you like?" It said back. "Ughh, I think I want 2 hard and soft tacos with meat and cheese only " "Owwwww" I said laughing holding my head from throbbing. "Actually, make that 2 hard and soft tacos with a bag of ice please" he said chuckling. The box spoke, "That will be.."
"Where does it hurt?" Cam whispered interrupting the box.
I pointed to a spot on my forehead. "That will be $7.95, drive to the next window please."
He leaned over kissing the spot on my forehead where I pointed was hurting. "Thank you" he said back to he box after taking his lips off my bruise and putting the truck in drive. We pulled up, got his food and my ice, then headed to his house.
