Chapter 22: Surpise Trip!!!

Y/N's POV

"Can you at least give me a hint?" I asked my stupid boyfriend who I saw was smirking out of the corner of my eye.
"Nope! It's a surprise!" He grinned and winked at me. I just laughed and turned away. It was Saturday and Julian invited me on a surprise trip. He picked me up early in the morning and didn't tell me where we were going.
"Fine, I'll take a nap then!" I laid my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes.
"Alright, night beautiful..."

"Wakey wakey~!" I groggily opened my eyes and I saw Julian looking at me. I was laying on a bed.
"Huh...?" I yawned and looked around. We were in a room I've never seen before.
"Where are we...?" Julian laughed and crossed his arms.
"A hotel room!" I deadpanned and said
"I knew that already-." I laughed and got up from the bed.
"So what's the mystery place we're at?" I asked excitedly. Julian smiled in return.
"Go see for yourself!" He gestured towards the door and grinned. I gasped and ran to the elevator. Then to the first floor, and out the lobby.
"Woah!!!!" I looked around and saw the huge sign above the hotel.
"Disneyland!?" I gasped and heard a laugh.
"Surprised?" Julian ran toward me panting a bit. I immediately hugged him tightly.
"Yes! Thank you so much!" He hugged me back and smiled.
"You deserved it." We let go of each other and Julian grabbed my hand.
"Well, we don't have all day! Let's get to the park!"

We entered Main Street and I looked around in awe. It was my first time at the happiest place on earth after all!
"So where do we start?" Julian asked me curiously, as he handed me the map to the park.
"Hmm..." I looked at the map in my hand and pointed at the green area.
"How about Adventureland?" I suggested.
"Sure, let's go!"
We passed by many shops and sellers who had tons of cotton candy and popcorns. Of course, we got one! It would be a waste to come to Disneyland and not buy cotton candy! We continued our journey and finally reached our destination.
"What would you like to see first?" Julian started listing a bunch of attractions and rides.
"Look! They have Jungle Cruise!" Julian took my hand once again and we rushed into the line.
After a while, we finally reached the boat boarding. We went through the nice scenery and made tons of jokes.
"Look! That Elephant looks just like you!" I pointed to the Elephant who was spraying water.
"Hey! Elephants are cool!" Julian crossed his arms angrily and huffed. I just laughed and enjoyed the rest of the ride.

"So now what?" Julian asked me as we walked out of the ride. I brought my hand to my chin and said,
"How about Pirates of the Caribbean?" I suggested pointing in that direction.
"Sure!"
On our way there we talked and joked with Julian and his parents who were enjoying themselves as much as we were. Soon we arrived at the ride and I took a big whiff of the scent.
"I love the smell of the water in this ride!" I grin and inhale as much as I can. Julian looks at me like I'm crazy, then shrugs.
"Hey, you're right! The water smells great!" Our whole time waiting to get on the ride was spent smelling the water and talking about the movies.
"Be careful (Y/N)! Don't wanna fall in the water!" Julian laughed and pushed me a bit toward the edge of the boat we just got on.
"Hey! What if I actually fell!" I glared at him and bit back my smile.
"You would drown and die," Julian responded. I gave him a "Wtf" look. He just laughed at me and said,
"I'm kidding! I jump in and rescue you. Then if you need it, some mouth to mouth~" Julian wiggled his eyebrows and I smacked him playfully.
"That's nasty!!" After that, we enjoyed the rest fo the ride and reached the middle where Jack Sparrow was standing.
"Bro look! It's Captain Jack Sparrow!!" Julian's eyes sparkled and he cheered.
"You like him or something?" I cocked an eyebrow at him.
"Who doesn't? He's hilarious!" Julian said as he waved at the fake man. I just laughed and waved as well.

"That was tons of fun!" Julian stretched as we walked out of the place.
"It was! Maybe next time Jack will wave back!" I burst out laughing and Julian glared at me.
"I kinda wanna go to Fantasyland next." Julian contemplated pointing to the area on the map.
"Alright! I've been wanting to go on the Teacup Ride for a while!" I agreed and we made our way to Fantasyland.

"Look at the castle!!!" I pointed at the beautiful huge castle standing tall in front of us. It truly felt magical.
"I've been here tons of time but I still get that rush of happiness every time I see it..." Julian smiles to himself and admires the castle.
"You know, the feeling reminds me of how happy I feel when I'm with you." He turned to me and smiled at me lovingly. My eyes widened. Then I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him tightly. Once I  let go of him, he grabbed my face and kissed me. I kissed back and we heard a familiar voice call us from behind. Mr. Albans called out to us,
"Cmon guys! We still have a whole park to see!!"

The four of us spent the rest of the day laughing and enjoying ourselves to the max. One of my favorite moments was when we got on the teacup ride! We spun so fast, Julian threw up! It was hilarious! Once he got better we sat down on some benches and ate some snacks. It was already getting dark, so we were talking about leaving already.
"There's one more thing I wanted to show you,
(Y/N)." Julian covered my eyes and I could hear some loud music coming from my right.
"Surprise!" Julian removed his hands from my eyes and I saw it. The last parade of the night! The Paint The Night Parade! There were so many lights and music! It was so magical! Julian held my hand as we sang along to all the songs that played. We watched it with sparkling eyes and enjoyed every second of it. Sadly everything comes to an end. On the last float of the parade, everyone followed it as the music played. The floats led everyone to the exit and Julian and I did the same. We smiled at each other and sang as loud as we could. The night soon came to a close, and we went to our hotel room.
