"ellie oh my god did you see tiktok room" anthony yelled as he barged  into ellie's room.

ellie was lying down on her bed doing some work and she got a fright with the sudden appearance of anthony.

"yeah" she sighed. " i commented"

"you did?" was his reply as he instantly started scrolling, searching for ellie's response.

"woah" he said obviously indicating he had now saw it "well done el"

"thanks" she laughed weakly

"no seriously you really showed them who's the queen here"

"i appreciate it ant thanks, it just makes me sad how quick they are to judge"

"el don't let them get to you, i'm here if you need me" and with one last, thumbs up, he left the room.

ellie suspired heavily and opened the tiktok app. she needed to post. she needed to show them that she didn't care.

but she did.

the girl exhaled once again and flung her phone down, not really caring where it landed as long as it was somewhere away from her.

she did care.

other influencers, not just on tiktok but on every social media site always said "the hate just doesn't get to me"

ellie was different. she did care. she cared about others opinion. always have. always did.

she wouldn't let other people see her vulnerable.

she reluctantly picked up her phone. she picked it up like it was a ticking bomb about to go off. she hated that she did it like that and shouldn't have to. social media made her hate being on a device.

she heard her ringtone sound in her ears

"payt is calling, payt is calling" siri said in her monotone voice.
