the young girl sat down in the middle of the street and looked around. it was 22:00. hardly anyone was going to come down at this time surely?
suddenly she hard the sounds of tyres in a hard road and leapt to run to the footpath. she didn't know from which direction the vehicle was coming from.
"ellie!!" shouted payton hysterically dropping the camera.
ellie suddenly felt a sharp tug on her hair and flew back just as a truck went whizzing past, exactly where she had been, less then a millisecond ago.
"oh my god" ellie whispered as she turned around the face payton.
ellie suddenly felt crushed as she saw payton smothered her in a hug.
"i'm so so so sorry oh my god el" payton screamed, he sounded like he was on the verge of tears.
"hey it's ok, you are the one that saved me stupid" she laughed as she pulled away from the embrace.
"cmon, let's go take those pictures"
