"wait. you're capping right?" payton couldnt hide his smiles.
"oh yeah i definitely are" said el in a silly, sarcastic voice. "i'm not joking, i'm being serious"
"wow"
"yeahhh wow" ellie said kind of awkwardly to tell the truth.
payton walked over to ellie and picked her up into a hug. she layed her head down on his shoulder and the two of them relaxed in each other's presence.
when they pulled away she saw payton looking at her with, as joanne previously said, heart eyes. ellie then saw payton leaning in and ellie found her self mirroring his actions.
"can i?"
"go ahead" and payton closed the gap between them.
his soft lips touched hers and she moved up against them in sync. it first started off as a simple kiss and then payton asked for permission to deepen the kiss.
as ellie obliged she found payton pulling her closer to his body. she wasn't complaining.
as they both pulled away for air, they looked at each other and laughed at their actions.
as the thought sunk into ellie, realisation hit her like a brick.
damn. i just kissed my best friend.
"woah" giggled payt as he hopped down onto the bed where he previously was.
ellie snickered as well and sat down beside him, giving him one last peck before leaving the room.
"bye payt"
