of course, ellie craned her neck to look at the modern-day digital clock. yep an hour and twelve minutes to be exact.
"ah what can i say, i'm a bookworm" el shrugged.
"now i know what to get for you birthday" jaden joked amist laughs.

"i was joking, but i guess better start looking up good books" jaden shuddered to think of the task ahead.
"i'm just messing jello, well, i wouldn't mind books" ellie said and then seeing jadens panicked face, she changed tack, "but nah you don't have to get me them"

"anywayyyy" ellie chorused, aiming to change the subject. "dino nuggets or pizza?"
"both of course" they all chanted

"i feel like i should put a q and a poll on my instagram story" ellie thought to herself when she was alone for maybe the first time in a long while today.
yeah i'll do that
ellie clicked and pressed a few buttons and within a few more taps of her acrylic nails on the screen the poll was up. it was for a youtube video. she hated how inactive she had gotten.
her phone was blowing up. damn she forgot to turn of notifications. she immediately lunged for the phone desperate to make the annoying sounds stop.
she could finally hear silence. jesus. never making that mistake again.
after around an hour and a half she made her way to the questions of the poll. hmmm.
they are mostly all about payton
are they seriously for real.
she put up another poll and issued it straight out "no payton questions please, i've said it multiple times, i'm not saying it again" read the quote under the poll sticker.
another hour passed slowly and when she saw the questions this time she wasn't disappointed. they were normal.
great.
she rummaged around for a while but soon enough she found the dusty tripod and camera and set up herself for the recording.
"hey guys it's ellie and welcome back to another youtube video, i know i haven't been active lately and i literally hate that buttt i'm back!! and today i'm doing a q and a so yeah" she finished the intro with her iconic move.
