I slammed the door and ran rapidly to the phone to call my mother.

I dialed her number as quickly as I could. No answer. I tried again. No answer.

At that moment I ran into the darkness of Delath and ran through the bleakness.

I crashed to the cold and empty floor as I cut my pure white arm on the concrete of the ground, that didn't stop me. I got up suddenly, pure adrenaline made me move speedily straight into the old crooked door of my mothers house. I banged in the door loudly.

There was no answer.

I started kicking and scratching the door screaming for my mother to answer, but there was only silence.

She couldn't be out as it was 12am and nobody is out his late in Delath.

I heard a crash and at that moment a dark figure moved swiftly past me, its cold draft like daggers into my soul, and just like that, it was gone as if it had taken a vital part of me.
