Chapter 7

I decided to wait and tell Blue about Jeremy later. I saw him leaning over Ellen from football and rolled my eyes. He winked over at me. I turned my back and felt eyes burning the back of my head. I headed to football training. Girls just glared at me as I quickly undressed in the changing rooms. What was going on? I got out onto the pitch and right away Willow was over.

"Right Ellen and I are captains" Ellen smiled and swished her glossy blonde pony tail back and forth. I was picked last. Its surprised me I thought they said I was good the last training! Willow sighed and pointed her long manicured finger at me and pocked me below the collar bone.

"I suppose I'le have to pick you"

"Well obviously I'm the last person"

"Huh" Willow squeked and spun around with her hair flying into my face.

Willow kicked off. I hated to admit it but she was pretty good at football for the size she was. I'd say she can buy childrens clothes.

She didnt pass. She was being a goal hogger.

"Hey Willow would you pass" I shouted.

Willow ignored me.

Ellen had the ball I came up to tackle her and she gave me a shocking kick on the shin. I toppled to the ground in pain and held my leg up to my chest.

"Get up, be a woman" Willow shouted from across the pitch.

Ellen kneeled down and whispered into my ear.

"Try anything with Jeremy again and you'll get ya hear?" She threatened. I was speechless. WHAT? I hadnt tried anything on Jeremy! Is that what he'd been spreading?

I told Ellen it was all him. She went red with rage.

"First you try to steal Matty from Willow and now Jeremy from me. You know your not gaining any friends here!" She lectured. "Next you'll try to steal Willows place on the football team right? That was your plan all along." Now I wasnt just in shock from the pain but from disbeleif too! These people were so paranoid. And anyway I didnt even know Jeremy and Ellen were a thing! I didnt know what to say. I managed to whisper.

"Its not true..." Tears were in my eyes.

"Pathetic just pathetic" Willow jeered as I stumbled across the pitch helplessly. I sat in the changing room and cried. I definitely had no chance of getting onto the team now. The whole team hated me. I put my hand up to my head and ran my fingers through my hair. I felt liquid. I cautiously took my hand down and saw blood all over my hand. How had that happened? Must have been when I fell. I was really worried. I took my water bottle out of my bag and gulped. My head felt dizzy. I needed to go to the nurse now. I got up but my leg was aganizingly painful. I rolled my sock down to find a monster bruise almost over my whole shin. What would I do. I would have to just walk. I wasnt going to feel sorry for myself!

I dragged my leg behind me up the corriders. I had no sense of direction every corrider was long and yellow. The room started spinning. I couldnt think straight. I heard faintly my name be called out. I just slumped down on the ground and closed my eyes. My head was pumping. Someone took my hand and helped me. It was a boy. He had a soft soothing voice.

I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I really didnt know it was that big of a bump when I fell on my head. Maybe I was concentrating on the pain on my shin and the pain in my heart. I saw my mums smiling face peer round the door.

"Oh Bloom are you all right?" She ran over and fell on top of me.

"Oww" my head was pounding.

"Oh sorry hun when I got the message I came right away. Its my day off today so I wasnt at school." I smiled slightly but it hurt my head. The school nurse told me I must have fallen on something harder than grass because it was quite a head injury. I looked to my side to see Harrys face smiling at me. Wait Harry? Why was he here? He explained he was going to the library when he saw me looking ver discombobulated. So he came and helped me but I collapsed.

"Thanks" I whispered. Talking hurt my head.

"Do you remember what happened?" Mum asked. I thought back. I remebered someone kicking my leg really hard. I reached my arm out and touched my leg it was extremely sore. So I definitely had been kicked. The I remember someone whispering in my ear. It was Ellen! She had said something about me and Jeremy how I had tried something out on Jeremy?

"Em..someone kicked me" I said slowly.

"Yes we kinda gathered that from te colossal bruise on your shin!" The nurse chuckled.

"But do you remeber who?"

"Em no" I lied. Harry looked at me suspiciously.

"Helena I think you should take Bloom home and let her rest." It sounded funny someone calling my mum Helena everyone called her Ena! It hurt to think so I closed her eyes. I heard the nurse say,

"Plenty of fluids...go back to class" i opened my eyes to see Harry smiling at me and leaving.

Mum lifted me into the car and took me home. I recollect her tucking me into bed and the I fell deep asleep but not beforw remembering Harrys amazing smile before he left me in that nurses room.

I woke up at 12 with a nightmare. Jeremy had come and tried to kiss me but Harry walked in and he turned into a huge monster and started trashing my house. Then I was going to football tryouts but Ellen and Willow met me in the changing room and boxed my head in. Scary stuff !

Aww what do you think of Harry lookin after Bloom? And will Bloom have to miss football tryouts tomorrow? :O
