Feeling Yellow

Is yellow a feeling,

Or am I just imagining things?

Because I just feel yellow.

The color has so much happiness associated with it,

It's an emotion I feel,

I hope it's not a crime to feel this joy,

I have no cause to feel it anyways,

Yet I remain all smiles.

I could dance and sing and bounce about,

Maybe this is what it feels like to not be sad anymore.

I'm feeling yellow,

Like the daisies and daffodils,

Just basking in the sun,

Living a simple life.

I'm feeling yellow,

All smiles and rainbows,

Just happy.
