"So how many times have you guys did the deed so far?" Jess asked sitting on my bed across from me.

"Don't you think that's my business to know?" I side eyed her.

"C'mon give me the details, I tell you everything I do."

"SADLY"

She acted like I wanted to know all her funny business. I wasn't as BIG of a oversharer as I used to be.

"Don't feel bad Xi, she does the same thing to me." Kamora sat in a beanbag chair in a corner of the room. We were just lounging and having what they would call girl talk. Later we were going to watch a movie.

"Speaking of you, how have you and Eli been because a little birdie told me that Y'ALL STARTED TALKING!" Jess threw a pillow at her. I looked at K, this was news to me.

"I was waiting till things maybe got a little more official but since it's out there yeah we're a thing right now." She did a flipping hair motion and smiled.

"Wow i'm so happy for Eli!" I exclaimed. He had a crush on this girl for the longest. I thought it was obvious when I first met him but apparently the guys knew even before then.

"Happy for Eli?" They both asked at the same time.

"Well yeah, now that it won't hurt to mention, this man Eli has a crush on you for the LONGEST. It seemed like everyone knew except you."

"Oh I knew that. Mm that's probably his ass was going so hard for you during the whole pool situation.." Jess said.

"Well that's great why didn't no one tell me!? I feel like I was unintentionally leading him on before now."

"Would it have made a difference you were too busy being goo goo for that sad case JRay." Jess gave her a look.

"In her defense, she ain't know he was an asshole till he showed his true colors. Plus this just means that Eli and you are probably gonna go a long way, he really likes you. I'm really happy for you guys." I tried to bring things back to a more positive light.

"Thank you Xia." Kamora smiled. "How are you and the homeboy Melo anyways. I was talking to him the other day but he wouldn't tell me shit."

"We're good he actually officially asked me out yesterday and we had dinner at his." I let a grin creep up on my face. I was definitely thinking about the other events that took place.

"Finally! How'd he ask?" Jess joined.

"Did you guys see all the flowers out front? Well he had them all brought in and they were placed all around the kitchen. And there was a cute note too, it was all really thoughtful."

"Awe that's nice you really like flowers right?"

I shook my head.

"That's great how's the sex?" Jess practically jumped to asked the question. I sucked my teeth and rolled my eyes at her while Kamora laughed on the beanbag. I decided to give in and just answer her, she would never stop asking if I didn't.

"Well we've only done it once and it was technically when we weren't even dating but it was definitely good."

"When was this?" Kamora jumped up a little just as curious.

"It was actually the pool day. After Melo got hit and hurt his hand we went up to the bathroom to clean his cuts and one thing let to another and we were in his room and he was laying the pipe." I smirked.

"Wait...I KNEW IT. That was when I called Melo and then I said y'all were up to no good and his rude ass hung up on me." Kamora came to the realization and crossed her arms while Jess started cracking up.
