"Jessica....you can't just harass the man."

I was currently laying down on my bed staring up at the ceiling while I talked to Jess over the phone. Gelo kept on complaining that Jessica was "objectifying" him so here we are...

"But Xi, that's a fine ass nigga" Jess explained. Sure Gelo was definitely not ugly but I only had my eyes on one Ball brother.

"He also has a girlfriend.." I sighed. Jess was just hopelessly horny...

"So does your brother and I would still fu-"

"EW please no" I nearly yelled into the phone. I could never imagine my best friend dating or having any kind of relations besides friendship with my brother. And friends is still cutting.

"Fine....i'll stop bothering Gelo."

"Thank you!"

"For now"

I mentally facepalmed at her stubbornness. I think she's gonna be like this the rest of her life to be honest.

"Anyways we should have a girl's day/sleepover tomorrow. Me and K miss youuuuuu. You and Melo start dating and y'all act like us and the guys don't exist." I rolled my eyes.

"NOT TRUE, you guys could come over tomorrow let's make it a plan."

"Alright, catch you later?"

"Later Boo"

I hung up the phone and placed it down next to me and as soon as I did, I got a message.

Jere🍼: Come downstairs.

I gave my phone a confused look. How is he just going to text me and tell me to go downstairs....with no context.

Xia: Why...😐

Jere🍼: GO!

Alright damn...

I lifted my body up off my bed and slipped on the fuzzy slippers that were waiting at the side of my bed. Walking down the stairs I felt a sudden nervousness creep through my system. Why was it so important for me to come downstairs. If anything he could have texted me what he wanted. Maybe he was just being an asshole and was trying to get me to come for nothing.

"Jere what do you wa-" I began to say as I reached the final step but when I walked into the kitchen I was in awe.

Hundreds.....It had to be hundreds of them.

There were what had to be hundreds of different colored flowers covering every single counter surface in the kitchen. I stood with my mouth wide open, there were colors here that I've never even seen before. Some of these definitely had to be exotic. I notice a small card on the island in front of one of the groups of flowers and went to look at it. When I picked it up and flipped it over it read,

"You don't know how long I've been waiting for this moment and now that it's here, I had to make sure it was perfect. Be mine, Xia."

My heart...

I kept my place just taking in everything. That was until a voice whispered in my ear from behind.

"Surprise" I felt air hit my ear.

I instantly knew it was Melo. When I turned around he was smiling from ear to ear. Without really thinking I jumped into his arms giving him a wide hug. He stumbled back a few steps caught off guard, but when he caught his balance he hugged me back.

"Melo, you really didn't have to do all this..." I broke the hug looking up at him.

"I wanted to though. I remembered that one day when you said that you used to collect flowers when you were younger and that you were still really into them. I knew that I had to get you a bunch that you've might've never seen before." He held onto one of my hands.
