(Ashley's POV)

I looked out my window and saw... Dallas Winston? What was Dally doing here? I opened my window quietly so my parents couldn't hear.

"What? Why are you waking me up?" I sounded bitter and cold but I'm okay with it. He did wake me up after all.
"Sorry sleeping beauty." The sarcasm radiated. He continued, "have you seen Johnny?"
"No, I thought Johnny was with you!"
"Nope. Well I'm going to find him, you can go back to your beauty rest now."
"No, i'm coming to find my brother. Wait there!"

I through my hair into a high ponytail and put on leggings and a t-shirt. It was summer it shouldn't be cold, and I knew Dallas would leave without me so I went out my window and climbed down my tree.

Once I reached Dallas he started walking, I was cold but I wasn't leaving. We walked in silence for a little bit until he decided to break the silence.

"That's a nice shirt."
"oh uh thanks?"
"That was a compliment."
"Yes and I said thanks." We both laughed a little.

He started to talk again until I almost screamed! Johnny was on the ground unconscious. I ran to him and Dally followed me. Dally picked up Johnny and I got his other side and we stumbled towards the Curtis'.

When we got there Pony answered the door.
"Oh Jesus, What happened to Johnny?" He sounded really upset, so I told him that we just found him there.
"Wow poor Johnny." Soda said while cleaning his bloody nose.
"Yeah I know." Then I realized it was already 5 and I need to be home in 10 minutes.

"Oh guys I gotta go!"
"Here I'll take ya home Doll. Can you guys keep Johnny?"
"Yeah we got him Dal. Ash don't worry." Pony rubbed my arm as he said that. I think Dal noticed I was a bit uncomfortable because he got us going right after.

We left the house and we were having a normal conversation. I was shivering and Dally must've noticed because he put his leather jacket around my arms.

"Thanks Dal."
"Don't mention it. Also Johnny would be pissed if he found out I let you freeze." My heart sunk. He was doing it just for Johnny.
"Also I can see ya shaking kid, next time bring a coat would ya?"
"Fine I guess." He smirked at me and my heart flew. But, I pushed it back down. Winston was a playboy and I knew it. I wasn't going to be just one of his one night only girls.

We kept talking until I realized I was home.
"Uh thanks for bringing me home Dal."
"Your Welcome Ash." I climbed up into my window before my parents noticed me gone. I waved to Dallas and he waved back. Then he turned and went back towards the Curtis'.

I only had 20 minutes before I had to get up, so I just started getting ready. Then I noticed I still had Dal's leather jacket on. I put it in my closet so my dad wouldn't see. I'll just give it to him later today when I visited Johnny.
