Chapter TwentyOne

(Ashley's POV)

Jackson was asleep and I was just thinking. I managed to get out of his grip. I went to the bathroom and changed my clothes. I left his clothes sitting on the chair. I slowly and quietly opened the door. I didn't want to wake him. I got outside and got in my car. I heard a scream from inside the house.

"ASH! Where'd you go?" I quickly backed out of the driveway and saw him look at me through the window. He ran towards the door. He was too slow. I was already on the road. I was sobbing as I drove as quickly as I could to Dally's.

I got to Buck's and ran inside. I knew Jackson wouldn't be too far behind me. I ran up to Dal's room. I just barged in.

Sylvia looked pissed but I don't care. Her and Dallas were sitting on his bed. I had hot tears streaming down my face. Dallas ran up to me and hugged me. I flinched a little.

"Ash, what's wrong?" He said it in a low and calming voice. I just sobbed even more. He wrapped his arms around my waist and picked me up. I put my arms around his neck and let him hug me.

"DALLAS THE DEAL! YOU CHOOSE ME OR HER!" Sylvia was at the door screaming.
"Her." Dally said through gritted teeth. Sylvia shrieked and stormed out slamming the door behind her.

"W-what deal?" I choked out through sobs.
"Shhh...it's not important." He put me on the bed and pulled me back into the hug so I was leaning on him. He just hugged me and calmed me down till I was done crying.

"Okay Ash, what's wrong?" I shook my head.
"HOLY SHIT ASH!" He moved my head with his finger. "You have a huge bruise. BabyGirl, tell me the truth did someone hit you?"

I thought about what Jackson whispered to me after hitting me. 'Tell anyone and it'll get much worse.' I slowly shook my head but I knew he saw through me. I nodded yes.

"Who? I'm going to kill th-"
"ASHLEY WHERE ARE YOU?" I could hear Jackson screaming from downstairs, I squealed and held Dallas tighter.

"Was it Jackson? Did he hit you?" I nodded my head and Dallas picked me up and put me by the corner of the room.

Jackson barged through the door and hit Dallas.
"Tell me where she is you ass." He looked right at me. He ran to me and grabbed me by my wrist and tried dragging me out. Dallas punched him in the face twice and pulled me back to him.

"Go back over there." I did as Dally said.
"Ash let's go I'm bringing you back to my place."
"NO! Jackson I HATE you! Leave me alone!" I started crying again.

"Get out!" Dallas yelled.
"No she's my girlfriend!"
"Not anymore! We're through Jackson get out!" I cried more. Dallas and Jackson got in a fight but Dallas won. He punched him over and over again.
"This isn't over!" Jackson yelled and he walked out the door. Dallas scooped me up and held me. He softly kissed my neck and rubbed my back till I was asleep.
