sucker for sugar honey iced treat lollies / but can't spin them in the mould myself / instead i plunge two fingers down my bloodied throat / extract amethyst geode tonsils / attrite them against each other / crack / lilac glitter sprinkled on a humous porridge wave / of red and green / of blood and bile / jelly crumble spilling out of lips / yellow sloshing between teeth / run the tip of swollen beef tongue over bitter lemon pearls / this moving, flapping muscle / speaking in electric magenta / in marine milk curds / snapping confused letters together / fridge magnet language / amber pomegranate seeds strung together in slimy rosary beads / wrung around necks / around wrists / red-green-blood-bile porridge hits the toilet / the fan / the screen / your bloodshot eyes / your lavender tub / your flowerful core / but your eyes drip chilli / your bathtub runs brown and black / so you turn away before your heart-flowers corrode / my belly echoes hollow groans / so i turn to you / and eat your frozen sugar-honey-crystallised flowers / and smile :)
