Shulk's POV: Leaving Colony Nine

  "Shulk, that's so great!" Fiora exclaimed. "You should accept!"

  "I don't know Fiora. I've never left Colony Nine since the whole Zanza thing."

  "Exactly why this will be good for you! Come on guys, tell him."

  Dunban put a hand on my shoulder. "You should do it. Besides, Ricky and I will be part of your Final Smash, so you won't be completely alone."

  "Yes you should. Smash School is quite legendary. It's impressive that you were invited," Melia said.

  "Rickey thinks you should do it!" Rickey said. "Rickey can be an assist trophy too!"

  "You should go kick some butt!" Juju shouted.

  "Juju!" Sharla gasped.

  "Do it bro! You probably won't get another chance like this!" Ryen said, clapping me on the back.

  "Well I guess," I said uncertainly.

  "Shulk, is there something else bothering you?" Fiora asked. She knows me inside and out.

  I sighed. "Yes, there is one other thing."

  "What is it?" Dunban asked.

  I stared at my hands. "I have to use the Monado again."

  There was silence.

  "Oh..." Ryen finally said.

  "Well, Rickey says look on the bright side! You don't have to worry about the Monado overpowering you! Because of the whole Zanza thing," Rickey chirped.

  "True," I said.

  "It says you will have abilities because of the Monado. They're called Speed, Jump, Shield, Buster, and Smash. You will also be able to use vision, which is cool," Ryen said, reading the card.

  "You should still do it. If the Monado causes problems, you can drop and come back," Sharla said. "And no Juju, do not say that again."

  "Too bad! Shulk, you neeeed to go kick some butt! Some of the coolest fighters in the galaxy will be their! Link the Hylian Champion! Mario from the Mushroom Kingdom. Ike from Fire Emblem! You gotta go show them whose boss! Plus then YOU can be known as a cool fighter!"

  I laughed. "I'm not looking for fame, but alright, I'll go."

  "Yes!" Juju shouted. "You're gonna be so cool! Not that you aren't cool already."

  "Rickey says this is cause for a celebration! Rickey says we should go to New Frontier Village." Rickey danced around us.

  "I agree with Rickey," Melia said. "Let's go celebrate! It's been some time since we had cause to party."

  "Alright!" Reyn cheered! "It's party time!"

  "You just want to have free food," Sharla accused Reyn.

  "Free food is just part of the package deal!" Reyn said, wrapping an arm around my shoulder. "We gotta celebrate for Shulk here!"

  Fiora grabbed both my hands. "Promise you'll write at least once a month."

  I touched my forehead to hers. "Promise."

  The others were watching us, but I didn't care right now. It had been so long since Fiora and I had a moment together, and I was taking it.

  She wrapped her arms around me, and before I could comprehend what was happening, she kissed me.

  I relaxed into it as it went on longer. When we finally broke apart, Reyn shouted, "Finally! Took you two long enough!"

  Fiora smiled at me and I couldn't help but smile back.

  "Come on Shulk," she said, "let's go party!"

  Sorry, sorry! I just couldn't help myself!!! I totally ship Fiora and Shulk! Anyways, short chapter. About 530 words, not including this bold part. I hope you still liked.

Shulk: Em! What did you just write!

Me: What? You know you want to kiss the girl.

Shulk: *blushes*

Fiora: Write what?

Shulk: Nothing!

Fiora: Okay?

Reyn: Aww that was the best! Em, let Fiora read it!

Me: Alright.

Shulk: No!

Fiora: *reads and blushes*
