  "Robin, Robin Robin!!!"

I sighed and put a book mark in my journal, looking up. It was Lucina, totting Chrom and Marth behind her.

  "What are doing?" she asked.

"Recording in my journal," I replied.

"Oh, cool. Will you help me and my siblings take our stuff to our rooms? All of us are on the top two floors and Bowser and Ganondorf are hogging the elevator."

  "Sure."

"Thanks man," Chrom said. He was my best friend. One of my only friends. Him, Lucina, Ike, and Robina were the only ones.

I put my journal in my pocket, replacing it with my Mage's Tome. Even though I had the incantation memorized, I opened it to the Levitation page to maximize the spell's effect.

Within seconds, Chrom, Marth, Lucina's, as well as my own bags were floating after me as I walked into the building. The trio trailed after me.

Smashers lugging their stuff up the stairs thanks to Bowser and Ganondorf along with who knows who stared at me and the Emblem siblings in envy.

I ignored some of the hostile looks sent my way. Being pretty much the smartest person in the building had it's downsides.

"What's your room numbers?" I asked them as we climbed the stairs.

  "611," Chrom said.

  "689," Marth replied.

  "634," Lucina panted.

I understood why she was tired. It had been several months since we had been forced to walk up and down the many many staircases of the school. Luckily, actually more like unluckily, my house had lots of stairs.

"So, Robin, how was your summer?" Chrom asked me as we neared the third floor of the building where Lucina and Chrom's rooms should be.

"It was incredibly boring. But I wasn't surprised. My calculations at the end of last year was that there was a 19% chance that my summer would be fun this year. That's 57% less than last year."

"Wow, that sucks," Chrom said. Marth just gave me the confused look he gave me pretty much whenever I talked. No surprise. Most people find me difficult to understand. Including my family.

My family... Nope. No going down that road Robin. You are at school with Chrom and Lucina and Robina. You are not going to bring them or yourself down.

"Yo, Robin, you okay??? I just asked you a question," Chrom's voice brought me back to reality.

"Sorry, would you repeat it. I've just got some stuff on my mind plus I have to subconsciously control the levitation spell."

"No problemo. I asked: What's your room number?"

"619, just down the hall from you."

  "Cool!"

"Lucky! I wanted to be close to Robin this year, but fate seem determined to not allow that to happen," Lucina sighed.

Chrom burst out laughing. "Robin must be rubbing off on you Luci. Since when do you use words like fate?"

  "Since now, duh."

I smiled, glad to finally have something worth smiling for.

"Whoa, you just smiled Robin," Chrom teased.

"And you just got burned by Luci."

"True. And now I got burned by you."

Marth just looked back and forth between us.
