I sighed, leaning against the wall. Pikachu had politely asked me if I would leave so that he could use his room for a reunion party. He hadn't meant to hurt my feelings, but he did.
Pikachu never meant to hurt me, but he usually ended up doing so anyway.
I was sick of being in his shadow. Our parents always paid more attention to him. It was like I was invisible when he was around. Half the time, I was known as Pikachu's sister, not my own name.
I found my way to a empty part of the campus. I think this was the Legend of Zelda section. I had noticed that this part of the campus, as well as the Kid Icarus section, had less people than some of the others.
I found a lone bench in the middle of a field and sat down. This wasn't much different from the first day of school.

"Pikachu!" someone gasped.
"Hey Jigglypuff!" my older brother greeted. "Long time no see!"
"No kidding!"
Jigglypuff wore a pretty pink blouse, white scarf and jeans, and pink tennis shoes. She had shoulder length pink hair and electric blue eyes.
"Who's this?" Jigglypuff asked.
"This is my younger sister, Pichu."
"Oh! I didn't know you had a younger sibling."
"Well, I do."
"You two look remarkably alike."
"Is that a good thing?"
"Yes. You're both adorably cute!!!"
We both blushed.
One by one, people came and greeted my brother. The only difference was, none of them paid me any mind. I was back to being invisible.
Pikachu was kind enough to help me find my room. But after that, he left me to talk to all the students clamoring for his attention. Leaving me alone, as always.
I sighed unhappily. Why had I gotten my hopes up? Of course being here would be no different than anywhere else. I would always be in my sibling's shadow.
Feeling lonely, I unpacked my stuff, my ears drooping slightly. My room mate had clearly already been hear, but they weren't present, only their stuff. It seems they had the time to unpack as well.
After that was done, I wandered the campus. No one really noticed me. They were all to busy meeting with their friends. I wish I had friends. The only reason most wanted to be my friend was so they could get closer to or meet my brother.
My only real friend I had to leave behind because we moved to a fancier house and a place where my brother could better attend Smash Jr. High.
I found myself alone, in a secluded grove of trees. I sat down on the rough wooden bench, pulling my knees close to my chest and trying suppress tears.
I was always so alone. How come no one ever noticed me?
"Hey, are you alright?"
I was jolted out of my thoughts by a boy in green who looked to be about my age, 14.
"Oh y-yeah. I'm fine," I stuttered out, surprised by his sudden appearance. My tail twitched nervously.
He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "I'm, um just th-thought you looked... lonely."
I managed a half smile. "I am. Your the first person to notice."
